"Lovely Hotel, staff very good and rooms comfortable. Only complaint was it was a Saturday night and they shut the pub at 10.40pm when we had come back and wanted a drink and as a resident have never been refused even after closing time of 11pm let alone before and thought was very poor service."

"Nicely decorated. Very clean. Well positioned. Excellent breakfast."

"Very clean with welcoming staff. Breakfast had an excellent choice and cooked meal was outstanding. We also had an evening. Meal with friends and this was also excellent with a good choice of food. Our room had everything one could need."

"We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number. "Housekeeping staff always very friendly and carry out an excellent job. Room always clean. Reception staff helpful and friendly. In fact all hotel staff are friendly. Breakfast is very good with a wide selection of food."
