"Absolutely beautiful place to spend 5 days. Utterly clean, great food, cold drinks, very very cheap, free kayaks and paddle boards, good shower, friendly dogs, interesting wildlife, really friendly staff, loads of interesting places to sit and lay down in the communal area, can walk quite far out into the Indian ocean when the tide is out and it faces west so the view of the sun setting each evening is spectacular. I'll give it a 14 out of 10!!! "

"I can’t recommend Clove Island highly enough. The setting is stunning, right on a super quiet beach and so relaxing and zen. The design of the apartments is gorgeous, so much attention to detail, it felt like a serene beach house. "We spent 5 days of our honeymoon here and it was great! Staff was exceptional, every single one of them. It was the first time we had all inclusive and was a bit worried in terms of the food but we had nothing to worry about because it was so much variation and it was all good. "We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel. Its in a good location, and right on the beach making it easy to explore the local attractions, take boat trips and visit the nearby village. The staff were all really helpful, attentive and friendly. The pool and grounds are well maintained and the rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. The delicious food was fresh, locally sourced and plentiful - we sampled it all. We particularly enjoyed the floating breakfast on our last morning. Entertainment...

Beach access was great and the view from our room was stunning. It was a great place to relax after climbing Kilimanjaro! Only issue was limited range of food, particularly for vegetarians. "

"Velmi se nám líbila poloha hotelu, vzhledem k tomu, že je mimo další turistická letoviska, je zde klid a soukromí. Nejbližší supermarket byl vzdálený cca. 20 km, což pro nás nebyl s vypůjčeným autem problém. Jídlo v restauraci bylo opravdu výborné. Snídaně byly oproti tomu bohužel slabší. Pokoj byl uklízen každý den a ručníky měněny dle potřeby."

We were treated so well — they took great care of us, and everything we asked for was no problem; they fixed it right away. The place was clean, peaceful, and the generator worked very well (incredibly important in Jambiani since the power goes out all the time). We are super satisfied!!
