The restaurant is fairly busy in the evenings but other than that it’s peaceful af. Great sunset views nightly. Parrots,hummingbirds. Great breakfast."

"If I could give Gaia 10 stars, I would. The customer service is truly outstanding. We were a family of four, and after a 4-hour plane ride, a 2-hour customs line, and a 3½-hour drive from San José Airport, we arrived at the hotel completely exhausted. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. "Everything about the room and property was wonderful. I can't say enough of how thoughtfully well appointed was the room. They thought of everything in anticipation of guests needs, including sensors, unlimited coffee and lighting. The staff was incredible and especially the reception attendant Caleb, who helped us with sights and restaurant suggestions. Will be back if we come this way again. "What an amazing vacation we had. After 5 days most of the staff had become good friends. It was sad to say goodbye to them. The location is stunning too with 180 degree views of 2 beaches. Outside our room we had a monkey highway as each morning 10 monkeys would walk across the vines outside our room. The wildlife are real happy there as we saw sloths, friendly lizards and lots of monkeys. And last but not least, the food was amazing at both restaurants. We cant wait to return!"

"We had a great experience staying at peace of paradise. The room was plenty spacious, with the sofa bed in the living room and a nice balcony. Mike was super helpful and friendly with tips around the town and we even saw lots of animals when eating breakfast in the courtyard. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was very close to the park/grocery store/restaurants. Would definitely recommend !"

"Great location for walking to several restaurants. The atmosphere of the property was very lush and tropical despite being close to the road. Monkeys in the trees were such an exciting treat to see. One thing to consider is you get ur steps in since there are a few. Good exercise so felt I kept fit for the 4 nights. The three different pools were a nice feature as well. Rooms were comfy. "We love this spot. Came here pre kid 15 ish years ago and returned with our 9 year old. There is a new building but the vibe is the same. Walkable uphill and downhill to restaurants but certainly stay and try the onsite at Sloth. The food was lovely. "
