"I arrived about an hour early and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to check in without any issues. Although I had reserved a double room, I was assigned a single room on the top floor. While I could have requested a change to match my original reservation, I chose to keep the room after considering prior reviews mentioning noise from the nearby highway. Being on the top floor seemed like a quieter option, and it worked out well for my stay.
Breakfast was what you’d expect from most hotels, but it did the job—and my child especially loved the waffles, which was a highlight for her.The room looked exactly like the photos online and was very clean. The décor was modern and nicely done. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious—likely because I was placed in a handicap-accessible room (1137), which I appreciated.
My only concerns were the lighting and water pressure. The lighting throughout the room and bathroom was quite dim. The bedside lights gave off an amber tone, making it difficult to clearly see lighter items. The ceiling lights were small spotlights that didn’t provide much brightness, and the bathroom lighting was similar, with just one spotlight and the mirror light. Thankfully, I always carry a flashlight and used it when needed.
As for the water pressure, it was on the lower side. However, the water temperature was excellent and stayed very hot, which was definitely a plus. There is also a daily parking fee and you need your room key to access the elevator. "
