Be sure when you go to this hotel you stop at the grocery store before you arrive. Once youre at hotel you are not close to anything. Beautiful beach, good food and nice room. Beautiful property.

Avaton Luxury Beach Resort - Relais & Chateaux
Outstanding location in a fairly remote area of the Mt. Athos peninsula. Sandy beach and perfect water combined with beautiful room and the best half board food we have ever experienced. Hidden gem and well worth a visit.

Arrived very late, self catering apartment but nowhere nearby to purchase provisions. However hired a car and found shoos within 7 kilometres. Hotel staff at both Elia Beach Hitel and Athena Pallas very nice and helpful. However in true greek style schedules and arrangements changed without notice. ...
