Decent motel. Young Indian lady and man who were managing the property were very kind. The breakfast was okay; waffles, muffins, fruit, yogurt, cereal and breakfast bars. Right by a truck stop so you could get anything you needed as far as that goes. Decent restaurant (Copper Pot) across the road. Easy drive to Mount Airy for Mayberry Days.

Bryson Inn has a very retro style, perfect for the Mayberry theme of the area. The inn is nestled back off the main road and is pleasantly quiet. The rooms were very clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking It was very hot while we were there and the pool was so refreshing. We would definitely stay here again.

The property and room were very clean. My biggest issue was except for the time we checked in, nobody was ever at the desk. I went in 3 separate times, rang the bell, and nobody ever came. I understand it’s a slow time, but I did have a couple questions. Thankfully, I figured out myself.

The inn and furnishings are old but very clean. The continental breakfast was ok and fresh. Staff were very friendly. Parking was good. Had to climb stairs to our room which was difficult for people our age ( 76-78). The price was right and the inn was easy to find. I would stay there again for an overnight trip.

The owners are the nicest people i have ever met in NC.We recently stayed at the Hamilton in Jonesville NC and the owners were very unfriendly ,so we checked out and came to the bryson.Well i am so glad we did. We are in the process of moving to a new home. We will probably be here for another month or two. The cleaning staff are also wonderful. We booked at last minute stay here to break up our long drive. While this Inn may feel a bit outdated in comparison to larger chain motels- the staff were very friendly and the rooms were quite clean. There is a small outdoor pool that was clean and our kid's enjoyed it and there was not a big crowd. Just about a10 minute drive to Mayberry attractions- and easy accessto I-77

For the value the motel was worth it. Our remote did not work for the TV but they did bring another remote for us we did not have use of the soap at the restroom sink or in the shower it would not pump and when I tried to explain that to the cleaners who did not speak English they never did replace that for us. There was a lot of rust on the light fixtures and hidden behind the beds on metal Outlet fixtures. The breakfast left a lot to be desired all there was was one waffle machine and two kinds of cereal. The location was convenient with a gas station right next door. So overall for the money it was worth it
