Great stay, lots to do, service was good (wouldn't say excellent, but it was good), food is good, beach is beautiful. I recommend the boat to Miguelito Island and Sugong Cave excursion. Good for couples, families, friends.
An amazing place and very well laid out. The location is beautiful.
My only slightly negative feedback is the service on the beach during the day otherwise it was a very enjoyable weekend.
The resort is located on a private beach in a private cove, which makes this place absolutely beautiful. The room service and the outdoor workers are constantly working, making sure the guests and the beauty of the restort is kept. The rstaurant and the workers on the other hand, need a lot of work. I waited several times on items i ordered but i never received the items, so after 45 mins of waiting i would leave. Thenother issue was that half of the items i wanted to order were not available to order

The death defying three kilometer drive to the property from the main road was nerve wracking. It was o tight that only one vehicle can pass at a time and no way to turn around once you're inside driving the poorly maintained road. No mentioned of it either on the property information. They capitalized the condition too by charging for a driver to drive you back to the main road on your way back or charge you if you use their shuttle to the property. Staff not so friendly at the office. Although i forgot to ask for my id when i return the key, staff should have been proactive in returning the id. I have to send somebody to pick it up again. Although its a glamping cabin it should still be properly maintained and secured to avoid animals in getting inside as snake was spotted just by the pool area next to our tent. The beach was so nice and quiet though and perfect for bonfire and movie watching at night. They need major improvements in their facilities and staff service if they want more people to come by.
Most of the staff are nice, accommodating.
Front desk staff lied about not having internet.
No TV and did not care to fix the problem. No hand towel in the bathroom. There’s no barrier between shower and toilet, so water from the shower gets into toilet section.
We appreciate the water heater in the shower.
Food needs to be improved. Service in the restaurant was slow at times. Pancake was served without butter and syrup. We had to ask for it. No crème for coffee. We felt like we were in a restaurant with staff not having knowledge of routine /standard restaurant service.
House keeping staff were very nice and very helpful. I had to call for broken shower and door. Maintenance staff fixed those two. They were polite and efficient.
The way to the main resort needs to be improved. There were bumpy section, too narrow. I won’t advise small cars with poor suspension to drive on this winding road.
Family and I enjoyed the secluded outdoor activities here and our glamping experience. We may want to try camping there by the beach or perhaps, the tree houses.
We kayaked and snorkeled and the kids loved finding shoals of fish, including puffer fish. The trail heading towards the small island along the left side of the bay was great. Food inside the resort is reasonably priced and delicious. We enjoyed the traditional Filipino cuisine offered and our kids thoroughly enjoyed the spam Monte Cristo sandwich. The only pain point and my only critique of our experience was the lack of transparency around parking. As you are about to enter the resort, we were stopped by someone who appeared to be a parking attendant. We were told that our vehicle may be too low to drive up and down the steep entrance into the resort so we took their advice and opted to take a shuttle. Later on, I found out that cars could go inside the resort as we saw two compact cars similar to ours parked there. We were not informed that the shuttle ride would cost 300php per person roundtrip and that if we parked our vehicle just outside the resort that we would be charged overnight parking for 200php. My spouse and I felt misled during that part of the experience and we hope the management could resolve that issue as it really takes a way from the overall pleasant experience staying at the resort. I would recommend visiting Playa La Caleta for its family friendly atmosphere.

Disliked: Staff & service
Picturesque location
Great beach and view
The road to the location is a single track concrete road that looks like it’s been laid by hand, if you’re not a confident driver this will be a problem, without sufficient engine power you won’t be returning as you will not make it back up over one of the rather precarious hairpin bends.
Upon arrival, the receptionist was terribly rude and insisted on trying to charge us a room surcharge even though we had prepaid and had the confirmation
Be prepared to buy food in the restaurant or if you take food yourself you will be charged a corkage, which is understandable but again communication was the key down here, bring your own BBQ or grille , traveling out to a local eatery is not something that is going to happen, read above re the road.
We took the family ‘glamping’ tent, glamorous it wasn’t, apart from the gaping joints in the tent allowing wasps and scorpions in to the tent, the inside was dirty and mouldy in areas .
This place could be so much more if only the ownership took pride in service
During my wait to check in the same, aforementioned receptionist was have two consecutive arguments with guests also checking in, we went back later to try and get some water only to hear the same lady again arguing with an American chap about additional charges!!
Oh and they don’t have WiFi
Still, it was cheap and a great private beach 3 hours from manila.
