Nice waterfront on Lac Leman with promenade. Flowers everywhere. Bathroom is very small. Room is in keeping with a 3 star hotel. Parking is a problem. You are on your own. No valet service and no garage.

zu teuer! kein Lift, Suite gebucht mit balkon. Auf dem Balkon stehend hat man nur das Gerüst vom grossen Fest vor der Nase. Lage des Hotels sonst gut.

Magnificent setting

Excellent quality hotel in stunning surroundings. A few of the restaurant service staff were not as professional as necessary, maybe still in their training phase. But this was made up by the very competent main restaurant manager.

Waren nur zum Schlafen im Hotel! Check-in war nett und zuvorkommend. Hotelzimmer korrekt für eine Nacht, Bad ebenfalls, jedoch etwas klein. Hotel liegt perfekt zentral und für die Wintersaison auch ruhig.

Agréable séjour au bord du lac

Chambre agréable, literie confortable et jolie salle de bain récemment rénovée. Jolie vue partielle sur le lac. Excellente qualité des produits du buffet du petit-déjeuner, excellent bircher et pains notamment. Dommage que le petit-déjeuner ne soit servi que jusqu'à 10h, même le week-end. Il serait agréable de pouvoir le prendre un peu plus tard, d'autant plus qu'on peut garder la chambre jusqu'à midi. Le matin dès 6h, on entend un peu de bruit de marchandises transportées à l'hôtel...

Ayant déjà sejourné plusieurs fois au Romantik, j'ai été vraiment déçue par la chambre dont j'ai héritée cette fois-ci. La salle de douche est minuscule, pas de place pour poser ses affaires. Le lit est collé contre le mur tant la chambre est petite. Franchement pas top.

Rum för omtänk...

Hotellet ligger fint vid Genèvesjön. Trevlig personal och bra mat. Rummet var rätt litet och huvudrestaurangen var stängd eftersom utomhusterrassen var öppen. Terrassen kändes inte som något middagsalternativ i slutet av september så middagen serverades i den enkla frukostrrstaurangen där man bara la dukar på de bord som det kom gäster till. Med huvudrätter som kostade kring 40CHF och dyra viner, kändes det ganska ”B”... Trevlig ort.

Lovely spot by the lake and pleasant hotel

I booked this hotel as I had business meetings in Geneva for a couple of days. Geneva seemed completely sold out of vaguely reasonably priced hotels (and I mean anything under €500 per night). This hotel was about the nearest I could get to Geneva on a decent train line without completely blowing the budget. The greeting when I arrived was great - very patient with my halting French. The room was nice enough (slightly disappointing view given the proximity to the lake). I found the bed somewhat uncomfortable the first night and couldn't work out why. The second night I worked it out - the floor of the room was sloping and thus the bed was too. Very odd experience sleeping at an angle! The bed itself was comfortable. No milk for the coffee provided meant I had it black with sugar which wasn't too bad but I would have expected milk to be provided. Breakfast was truly continental with no cooked options that were available or that I was offered so a croissant and yoghurt sufficed. The location was lovely with stunning views of the lake and Mont Blanc right outside the front door. I was also rather shocked at the price of food (I think not specific to this hotel but the area in general. What I thought was a bit on the expensive side for the plat du jour with salad and desert turned out to be the lunch price (with no indication that that was the case) and the price nearly doubled for dinner. Economising on food when travelling isn't my idea of fun.

Charming auberge at the lake of Geneva

This is a lovely hotel with lots of character, right by the beautiful lake of Geneva. The location is very quiet, yet within walking distance of the lovely old part of town of Morges. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean, some have pretty views over the small harbor and the lake. The hotel has a very good restaurant with attentive service and wonderful views over the lake of Geneva. We come here regularly to spend a night on our way to the south of France and have always enjoyed our stay.

Wunderschöne Lage
