First the great things: Beautiful architecture and decor. Very clean, comfortable room (I had the master suite), and extremely comfortable bed. Enjoyed room service which was tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast in the moring was delicious. The not so great: Was only given 1 water per guest for the room. I was told one water per guest was complimentary when being shown the room. The water was the same brand that I buy at Sam's Club. 175 pesos roughly for a case. And we were given one and never told we could get more. Keep in mind I had the most expensive room in the hotel. The in room coffee maker was either too confusing (and I've used many different ones) or I was provided with the wrong pods required. I messed around with it awhile and tried a few different things and still only wound up with hot water. I'm pretty sure I wasn't given the right pods for the machine. The soaps and shampoos are pretty cheap. Not what you would expect for this kind of property. Nothing provided in terms of a shower cap, shoe mitt or make up removal pads for instance. Basic shampoo and soap is what you get. Parking is not on-site. I found the advertised parking confusing. There is one parking space. Once one car takes it, you're forced to park at a site across a busy 4 lane street a little distance from the hotel. If you have a lot of bags, you need to get them to the hotel yourself. No valet, no help offered for bags. Overall okay, but I've stayed better for cheaper in Morelia several times

Gem of a hotel

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Morelia. Although it's location in a very busy street. The rooms are VERY quiet. Our stay included breakfast which offered many delicious options. A+

We stayed at the hotel about three years ago and had a wonderful time with the only recalled problem being lack of internet in the room. It just never worked which was frustrating as with the thick walled construction phone connections were not optimal. Made for a discouraging trip for communications and researching online things to do and see and where to eat, etc. With our recent stay at the hotel, the WiFi connection was STILL not working properly and inaccessible. Staff was not very helpful or understanding this time around. In fact, no real response for the most part. You would think in three years it would have improved! Otherwise, the service at the restaurant and the rooms were very comfortable but bedside lamps were not properly working.

Title: Urgent Warning: Stay Away from Casa San Diego Morelia Hotel – Security Issues Date of Stay: November 21-23, 2023 I am compelled to issue a strong warning against staying at Casa San Diego Morelia Hotel due to a severe security breach during my stay. Security Breach: After checking out, I realized I had left a jewelry bag in my room, containing items of great sentimental value. Despite promptly contacting the hotel, their response was dismissive. The staff, including the manager, claimed nothing was found, which is highly improbable as we had not stopped elsewhere after leaving the hotel. This incident has led me to question the integrity and security practices at this establishment. We have taken the step of filing a police report, and an investigation is ongoing. Conclusion: Given this distressing experience, I cannot recommend Casa San Diego Morelia Hotel. The apparent lack of honesty and security makes it an unsuitable choice for travelers. I strongly advise looking for alternative accommodations to ensure your safety and well-being. La construcción es hermosa y ubicada en un lugar inigualable junto al acueducto, restaurantes cafeterías, con vida estudiantil en todo horario. La habitación con una vista inmejorable y el personal muy atento en todas las áreas, el desayuno en el restaurante muy equilibrado en el aspecto nutritivo y de muy buen sabor. Solo que no tienen personal para llevar el auto al estacionamiento ni para subir la maleta, en este segundo caso es la señorita de recepción la encargada de hacerlo lo cual en nuestro caso no permitimos
