We have stayed there a couple of time. The view and atmosphere is unique. Rooms are relatively basic. Restaurant is a bit expensive but very good.

Cozy stay.

Absolutely fantastic. And not a complaint, but you should be aware there is only one bathroom and one shower shared for 6 rooms. It was never an issue but good to know coming in.

Gut renovierte Unterkunft, leider hatten wir Pech mit dem Wetter. Wir waren Teil einer Gruppe und hatten trotz höchstem Preis das kleinste Zimmer. Auch war die Rezeption erst überfordert, als wir vor der offiziellen Check-In Zeit angekommen sind und wusste nicht so richtig wohin mit dem Gepäck. Service und die Qualität des Essens waren sehr gut.

Tun Sie sich das nicht an!

Uns wurde von Hotels.com eine Reservierung in einem 3-Sterne-Hotel bestätigt. Hier die Voraussetzungen für ein 1-Stern-Hotel (EIN-Stern): Alle Zimmer mit Dusche oder Badewanne. Alle Zimmer mit Farbfernseher. Tägliche Zimmerreinigung. Bett, Tisch und Stuhl. Seife oder Waschlotion. Handtücher. Empfangsdienst. Zimmertelefon. Und was es in unserem Zimmer NICHT hatte: Dusche oder Badewanne. Farbfernseher bzw. irgendein Fernseher Tisch und Stuhl. Zimmertelefon Der sogenannte Empfangsdienst (Reception) war nie bedient. Man musste läuten und warten, bis jemand aus dem Service oder der Küche Zeit fand. Die Türen zum "Gemeinschaftsbad" (gemeint ist nicht ein Swimming-Pool, sondern EINE Toilette je) quietschte, so dass man nachts ja nie verpasste, wenn jemand mal musste. Draussen vor dem Fenster hatte es eine Fahnenstange (mit Fahne), an welche bei jedem Windstoss (und davon gab es eine Menge) das Drahtseil laut klapperte. Wir überlegen uns noch, ob wir gegen die "Le Coucou Hôtel-Restaurant Sàrl" eine Strafanzeige wegen gewerbsmässigem Betrug einleiten werden. Das ist kein Hotel. Da werden einfach von einem Restaurant Zimmer vermietet. TEUER!

Amo Le COUCOU.. había ido hace 5 años, y ahora ha sido remodelado con mucho criterio, manteniendo todas sus características de estilo y brindando mas confort, sin perder la escencia y la personalidad del lugar. Mi esposa y yo amamos Le CouCou... soñamos volver cada año... pero lamentablemente no podemos... nuestra economía no lo permite... Ojalá podamos volver pronto... es el lugar donde nos sentimos mejor en todo el mundo... no nos querríamos ir jamás...

Hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon mit Blick über den Genfer See - grandios! Das Personal sehr freundlich, das Essen im Restaurant absolut top! Kommen bestimmt wieder😎! Einziger Wermutstropfen: ÖPNV bis vor die Tür, die letzte Bahn fährt leider von Montreux schon um 23:17 Uhr ab.

Beautiful mountain location.

Wonderful place in the mountains above Montreux with glorious views up to the mountains and down to lake Geneva. In summer you can sit outside enjoying the views, in colder weather you can tuck up by the huge fireplace. Very peaceful. It is located moments from the railway to bring you into Montreux. The fondue is excellent too. The only improvement would be a residents lounge to relax in.

Cadre magnifique et service sympathique

Séjour très agréable et reposant dans un magnifique cadre surplombant Montreux. La vue depuis la terrasse de l'hôtel est superbe, tout comme depuis le balcon de notre chambre. L'équipe très sympathique, serviable et prévenante. La qualité du restaurant : irréprochable. Bref ... une adresse à retenir à 20 mn de Montreux même si la route d'accès est un peu "raide". Le train à crémaillère qui relie Montreux à la station de Haut de Caux est une alternative très confortable au trajet.

Schön, gut mit Mängeln

Wunderschöne Location mit sehr gutem Essen das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Lowlight war der Morgen: das Frühstück war mit 30 Minuten Verspätung "bereit" - vieles musste noch verlangt werden (Löffel, Butter, Gewürz) und kaum ein Tisch war sauber (vom Vorabend nicht gereinigt. Schade und dafür sind die Preise zu hoch. Bei dieser Lage kann man sich das scheinbar leisten.
