Waldorf Astoria Versailles - Trianon Palace

"We had a very pleasant stay overall. The location is excellent, within about a 20-minute walk of the Petit Trianon and the Château de Versailles, which made it very convenient for visiting the area. The staff were consistently helpful, considerate and polite. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. The pool felt slightly dated, and the outdoor area was partly under construction during our visit, which somewhat reduced the sense of staying in a palace hotel. Our room overlooked the garden, which was lovely, but the roof immediately below the window was quite prominent and diminished the view a little. Adding some greenery, plants or flowers to this area could make a significant difference. My main disappointment was breakfast, particularly the quality of the croissants, brioches and pains au chocolat. When staying at a hotel of this standard in France, I would expect more artisanal, freshly baked viennoiseries. It may seem like a small detail, but it is very much part of the French breakfast experience and would really elevate the overall impression. These comments are meant constructively, as we enjoyed our stay and found many aspects of the hotel excellent."
