What you expect from Ibis

Very friendly staff. Nice view and area in general. A little far from shopping and nightlife, but there are restaurants close by and a Disco supermarket for groceries. The hotel seems a little tired. It could have at least a facelift. A/C did not work properly.

The hotel is good and well located. I booked a room just to sleep because I left my luggage at my sister's house. The first night everything was fine. The second night the key card didn't work. I went to reception and they fixed it. I went to enter the room and it was occupied by other people. I went back down. They assigned me another room and it was also with other people. That happened with four rooms that they assigned me. A disaster.

The hotel facilities are ok. However, the food needs significant improvement. I ordered a soup that had no flavor at all, and the pizza tasted like a frozen pizza you would buy at Walmart.

Great location on the Rambla, recommended!

This Hotel Ibis location is along the Rambla, a convenient walking or taxi distance between the old town and new town. Clean, quiet, and secure with great service and friendly staff - I would definitely stay here again.
