"Everything about this stay was beautiful. We didn’t realize how connected they were so closely connected with The Hotel Convento do Espineiro, it was an extra bonus to use their facilities. The staff was amazing, the breakfasts are delicious. It was a step up in luxury and we loved it. The town of Évora can be seen in one day even if you inclue@ visit to the Dos Alemendres Megalithic site about 14 km out of town. We would stay again and definitely highly recommend. P.S.- Room #1 is the best...

"Great room, staff were very helpful. Only problem was the floor in the room was very squeaky. Every time you walked to the bathroom it was just awful, especially in the middle of the night. No instructions on how to work the jetted tub, but we figured it out by trial and error, lol. Very quiet. Bathroom floor was a bit slippery, so just put a towel down to prevent falls. Food was good. Lidl in town has great prices on their wine, we’re wine drinkers and wine at hotels can get expensive. Definitely would recommend this place. The religious artifacts were magnificent."

"We enjoyed our stay, Nice quiet place. Enjoyed the layout of our townhouse room. Can walk to a few restaurants and shops out with hotel. Just lacked staff attention to detail for this rate/standard of hotel. I would expect better service. You would ask the staff a question about restaurant/spa/activities etc and you would get a one worded answer and the impression of don’t ask me anymore questions. It always seemed to be so difficult to get help/assistance on the smallest of things. The room had a few faulty issues: toilet leaked, dishwasher kept falling forward, bedside wobbly, bed creaked. It’s just not the standard I would expect for this class of hotel. We enjoyed our stay as we were on our baby moon and also celebrating a birthday so we made it special ourselves. But there is definitely room for improvements at this hotel."
