"Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. "

"Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent shower, superb service where nothing was too much trouble. good menu choice for evening meals - the lasagna was absolutely excellent with a great side salad and the best chips I've had for ages. The draught beer was great and not over priced .... all in all, to be recommended!"

"Staff were great, however there was no hot water in the morning that was blamed on the hotel being busy and there was a constant noise from either the air conditioning or pipes or something else that went on all night. The hotel was nice but we couldn’t stay again and risk the water not being available and disrupted sleep"
