"All in all excellent, ticked absoloutely all boxes for our requirements. Needed a "Staging Post" as early check out from holiday accomodation and very late flight time. On arrival reception staff very pleasant and helpful, in fact our room was ready for us earlier than normal time. Ground floor room, so no problems with heavy suitcases, very pleasant garden and clean pool with basic loungers and shade if required. Chambre très propre et nettoyé et rangé tous les matins pendant que nous étions au petit-déjeuner. Présence d’un balcon qui nous permettait de profiter du coucher de soleil avec vu sur la mer.
Personnel très très gentil, agréable et serviable.
Emplacement super avec plages notamment une très belle et petite accessible à pied depuis l’hôtel. D’autres sont à quelques kilomètres.

"We Loved this hotel! The owner was very nice and Aria was so fantastic to give us advice on beaches, and assure us that the drive was easy! Thank you, Aria! The hotel is SO comfortable with excellent AC and is located on the cutest street / pathway in Chania. Note: we knew nothing about parking so we parked in the closest spot we could find, walked to the hotel to check in, then reparked at a dirt parking lot not too much farther (that we knew was legal). Easy!"

"Excellent experience overall- comfortable bed, great location on the pier, tons of shopping and food nearby. Only hiccup was we didn't realize that we can't drive up to the hotel to drop off our belongings (you have to park in the public lot or a private lot about 100-300 meters away). It's a short, pleasant walk but the first night when finding our way the GPS kept took us in circles trying to find the hotel so that was a little tiring. "
"Our stay at the Royal Sun Hotel was perfect. The room with the sea view and balcony was of a high standard, clean and comfortable. The Hill restaurant, where we ate breakfast each day, had a stunning view overlooking the old port and the sea, and was a delight to sit at each morning. The breakfast choice and quality was probably the best we’ve ever experienced. The pool was great with that brilliant view and plenty of chairs and sunbeds to choose from.
