"Loved this venue. People were lovely and food delicious. But we stayed in the smallest room which was a twin. I have never stayed in such a small room! No drawers or hanging space, was en suite but very claustrophobic. Will definitely go back but get a bigger room. ♥️ this is a proper pub, like they should be, beams on the ceilings and stone steps. Lovely garden area with lights. You will enjoy."

"We had a wonderful stay at Stoke Lodge, having visited on and off over a long period of time, the new owners have made a comfy, friendly and relaxing hotel. The food was delicious and they happily adapted to special dietary requirements. We can't wait to visit again."

"Gara Rock ist ein echter Kraftort – direkt an der Küste gelegen, absolut ruhig und abgeschieden mit einem atemberaubenden Blick. Die Lage ist spektakulär, perfekt zum Abschalten und Auftanken. Das gesamte Team war äußerst freundlich und hochmotiviert – der Service ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders begeistert hat mich die entspannte Massage – einfach himmlisch. "The unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off £15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizens"
