"Wifi does not work , very frustrating trying to work"

"When asking about getting transportation to/from the airport, be sure to have them write it down and explain clearly what they are charging, due to the fact that I was not charged the amount given initially. In other words, I was charged for having them go to the airport to pick me up, and charged for them taking me from the airport to the hotel (one trip the day I arrived), in total $1,500 MXN PESO (the two charges including a fee for using a card as payment). The hotel itself is great, surrounding area is a bit sketchy at night (but in the day it’s great), terrace is beautiful, can get a bit noisy due to the hotel being next the a busy avenue (some local shop kept blasting their music early in the morning), and recommend not using hotel transportation for not being transparent and way overpriced. "

"I got 2 days late due to Boston blizzard and inability to flight to Mexico, I inform the first time through the Expedia agent and it went well, but the second and third contact was never answered by the hotel. When I arrive, they say I didn't have a room, I told the receptionist (Jesus) that I couldn't believe that, the room was paid without refund so he had to make something. He called Expedia and resolved, but the initial negative was rude and frustrating to me. Lastly, the room was very poor, old, smelly and near the breakfast place, so very early it was even more smelier. I will never go back to this hotel and refund policies should be flexible. Anycase, I think I'll try something different from expedia as it wasn't a good experience either. "

"The room itself was beautiful! However, you will not be able to enter or even leave without calling a specific number that day. We waited for 30 minutes one day and were almost forced to rent a room bc the number didn’t answer. The same thing happened a couple times over our stay at this location. The hassle of constantly waiting for someone to come let you in is super draining especially if you plan to be out exploring. The second thing is that they have a camera INSIDE the kitchen, literally inside the premises recording what you do which i found as a huge invasion of privacy. The last thing is, there were seven of us and only changed our towels once during a 7 day stay forcing us to share towels. Jose and Delia were the only reason I gave this property 1 star. They were attentive and let us in everyone else could care less if we stayed locked out of of place. "
