"The hotel it’s a little outdated but the beds were amazing. Soft and cozy. If you have trouble sleeping due to noise see if they can give you a room in other floors. We were in the ground level by the parking lot and it was a little noisy. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly."

"Beautiful, rustic location with very comfortable beds. Common kitchen was clean, spacious and inviting. Check in and out were seamless. Walking trails and a State Park are nearby. We are hoping to return soon!"

"We travel a quite a bit and always try to find unique lodging, so weve stayed in a few cabins over the years...this was by far our favorite. Each cabin felt private. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck in Adirondack chairs while it was raining (and even saw a couple deer pass thru). Made coffee in the morning then talking it down to walk around the pond at sunrise was majestic. It was cold and rainy, so we grabbed a couple games from the game room to play in the evening. Can't say we were good at Canadian Edition Trivial Pursuit, but we learned a few things. Barb was absolutely delightful at check-in and made us feel very welcome. We highly recommended Sterling Ridge."

"An excellent place for the price point. I was greeted warmly by the staffer and given a larger room because it was the only first floor room left -- very welcome to someone with a wobbly knee. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate. There are many signs of age in worn surfaces and older furnishings but everything was clean. Bring a sleep mask as only blinds cover the windows and some light can come in, in my case from the person who had their car headlights on next to my room for a couple of hours -- be considerate; it doesn't cost you anything. The beach looked great -- the weather wasn't conducive to using it on this trip. Go left from the motel on Rt. 9 for a mile or so and you will find a charming downtown with a great bookstore and a coffee shop next to each other: Cornerstone Books and the Koffee Kat."
