Rip-off

No words to describe the bad experience of this hotel. I have never experience price gouging for meals like I did there. Food was ridiculously expensive for this remote place, more expensive than most 4 or 5 stars hotels I have been anywhere in the world, and we are in a small town here... We also had a bad experience where we had agreed to cancel one night without penalty with the hotel only for him to charge it anyway. It is a very disappointing experience and most people in the area will tell you to avoid this place due to bad service. At least it was sunny...

Fine,

Until there are more options in Mirebalais, this hotel is fine. It's conveniently located where I need be be every day. You will receive better treatment if you speak Kreyol or French

Short Stay in Mirebalais

Decent hotel in Mirebalais - great food, nice staff, beautiful gardens. The rooms have hot water, TV and the wifi is sometimes available. The rooms could use a little TLC, but overall it's comfortable enough and they have plenty of rooms.

Restaurant with almost no choice

For a hotel in the countryside, it is well equiped but it is my second stay there and the restaurant had only two choice of meals (guinea and beef)...we had someone who is vegetarian and the only thing they could offer him was fried plantain and fries....staff didn't make any effort to acomodate him. The rooms are ok, ac works they have hot water and satellite tv so for a hotel outside of PAP, it is good. Just plan not to have a lot of choices at the restaurant and to find a motivated staff.

Less than pleased

Upon arrival, we only had two of four rooms available for our reservation. They gave us one more but we were still shy one room. I would gladly have negotiated a deal for dinners, but they were unwilling. They gave us the fourth room the last two days. They said they could not reimburse the cost of the room since it was booked online.

Very nice hotel. My stay was agreeable.

The air-conditioned control was out of whack. Apart from that, everything else was fine. The food is good.

Practical, close to Mirebalais and Saut d'Eau.

I'm a total vegetarian, eating only veggies, bread and pasta. The restaurant and kitchen employees were always willing to make bananes pesees (fried plantains) especially for me, and help me with rice and beans or pasta.

My Experience at WOZO

Well, it was ok. Most of the people in the staff are nice.Specially who work at the reception. And I like the way the little houses are build. the Pool is really nice and clean, the security agents are nice and helpful. I like watching the birds. The Breakfast is delicious. The only think i would suggest you to work on, Rooms services. Like make the bed daily change the sheets etc. But like it. and i will be back soon

Seemingly the only hotel in Mirebalais, Haiti

Unfortunately, this was our only choice of hotel in Mirebalais and we needed to be in the city for 2 nights in order to access the University Hospital. We occupied 2 of 3 occupied rooms; the entire hotel was vacant otherwise except for staff and guards. There is no hot water at all in the guest rooms. We had to change rooms after checking in and requesting our non-flushing toilet be repaired. A hotel employee supposedly fixed this toilet as well as installed a light bulb in the otherwise unlit bathroom. Upon our return to the room after 2 hours, the bathroom floor was a pool of water. Thus, we changed both rooms, the other room originally assigned to us had a very loud water draining sound as well as a poorly functioning a/c. The second set of rooms assigned to us still had the draining water sound (much like a waterfall outside our windows) which were between the head of the beds in the rooms. Upon awakening, there was a pool of water inside the bedroom of one room, seemingly coming from the ceiling by the windows. The second night, the sound of frogs outside our windows (which were shut as much as possible) and the waterfall sound made sleeping even more difficult. We ate breakfast (good & included) at 7:30, day of check out. We needed to pay for the meal the previous night which we had put onto our room charge, but no one was available at 8 am in the office as we were leaving. We tried to cancel the room reserved for the 3rd night at 8 pm or 46 hours prior to stay, but...

Pleasantly confused at wozo plaza

staff was unaware of hotels.com . Phone number was the number of a staff member. We had a intetesting time convincing staff that we actually had a reservation . In the end all was fine.
