"The staff were exceptional!! The food was exceptionally good, with a mix including Indian as well as UK, but all - dinner and breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in the centre of the city of Brechin, quite close to the cathedral - well worth visit! Th oldest part dates from around 1000AD"

"Lovely room, but no bottled water in the fridge which was on, would have been nice to have cold water on arrival to ones room, considering other hotels with less stars do this. The rooms sink tap, twisted around when turning it on, had to hold it whilst turning on. Curtains could have had a pulley to close or an attached easy reach handle considering its a disabled room."

"We enjoyed a four night stay along with our elderly Labrador. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our dog lapped up the attention she received. We also enjoyed a fantastic afternoon tea during our stay. Everything was fresh, delicious and plentiful. Breakfast was buffet style with ample hot and cold options available. Would definitely return."

"Situated right opposite the train station and an easy walk to the bus station and the ferry terminal. The staff were really helpful especially as we arrived far too early to check in. We were able to leave our bags in a locked room and also on our last day after check-out. The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous...and extremely clean. We decided to have the High Tea which was really good value and as we wanted an early meal the timing suited us 100% (3-6pm - I think). We didn't have breakfast as we had an early appointment but we were able to order hot beverages from the restaurant after checkout to keep us going until our ferry departure. We would definitely return next time we're in Aberdeen."

"Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent with plenty of choice catering for all needs. We were there with 5 year old grandson who loved the room and pool facilities. Plenty of choices for him in the restaurant. We would most definitely stay there again and would highly recommend to all."
