We stayed in a beautiful room with a view of the stunning front gardens. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The beach along the North Sea is a short distance away, with views of Red Castle. Additionally, the full Scottish breakfast included with our room was delicious.

Lovely overnight stay

The staff made the trip. The house & grounds were great but the staff really stood out for being so friendly & welcoming. We stayed in an annex which wasn’t as nice as the main house but overlooked the gardens & was comfortable.

Amazing stay 100% recommend

Amazing stay. Historic house set in beautiful grounds. Amazing that they allow dogs also in such a nice place. Fantastic sand beaches right next to the hotel. Service was excellent, really enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Breakfast was delicious…. Best hotel breakfast I’ve had. An EV car charging point would make this hotel even better as there’s hardly any around in the area and would be great for over night guests to charge whilst there.

Lunan Bay beautiful beach!

Lovely staff and a great breakfast. Beautiful grounds and garden and easy access to the beach. Red Castle is a must see. Trout fishing on the river Lunan. Dog friendly.
