Staff has been terrible. 10 mins before check out time someone came & knocked the door saying you need to go out. Very unprofessional called me bro. Very rude

There’s not enough time to complain about what’s wrong with this property looks more like a crack den house than a hotel. How they’re advertised by Expedia is beyond me and it says a lot about Expedia The room was unclean toilet was broken, urine was left in the bowl. There was mould on the shower head and shower cubicle The shower cubicle had tape along the bottom of the door to act like I assume a seal I have photos and when challenged with this refused me a refund even tho I had to book somewhere else to stay Also even thought it’s down as a smoke free room the entire room smelled like stale smoke the minute I walked in, when I complained to the reception the staff seemed unbothered and said if I wanted a refund then call Expedia which when investigated claimed the room was “up to standard and no refund was due” Terrible service both from the property and Expedia

It was my second time staying at this property. I would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a place to stay in Middlesbrough as it is easily accessible with nearby restaurants, w-fi and parking facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful and I had no concerns and really enjoyed my stay.

Mattress was very lumpy and I could feel all of the springs!! It wasn't very clean and no towel was left in the room

Absolutely vile. There were guys walking around my car looking in. There were chavs who were wearing sliders starring at me in reception. I asked the guy on the desk to call me a taxi. He did that and then said please make sure your car is locked. I said what do you mean?! He said it's just for safety. Safety?! I said why is it not safe here. He said some of our customers park across the road. I jumped in my car and left. Awful unsafe experience. Never go here.

Die Rezeption war bei Anreise nicht besetzt. Nach 15 minütiger Wartezeit, hat mein Mann den Schlüssel überreicht bekommen, da mit mir als Frau nicht gesprochen wurde. Es gab nur kaltes Wasser in der einen, nicht gesperrten Dusche. Auf Nachfragen wurde nicht reagiert. Das Bett bestand aus zwei Holzkisten und einer Matratze. Das Fenster war im geschlossenen Zustand trotzdem noch 4cm geöffnet. Alle Räume waren in einem SEHR schlechten Zustand!! Das Frühstück war lächerlich! Die Mitarbeiter/Gäste feierten bis nachts um 1:30 Uhr eine private Party auf unserem Flur. Wir fühlten uns in der Gegend recht unsicher - an Entspannung war nicht zu denken. Am nächsten Morgen empfing uns hingegen eine sehr nette junge Dame an der Rezeption, die sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend war. Ein kleiner Trost zum Abschied. Generell ist diese Unterkunft nicht empfehlenswert.
