"First time away with my partner on holiday for one night, the rooms were wonderful, nice spacious area and comfy beds. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Just wished the check in was before 3pm but overall wonderful hotel to stay in for a night away or two. Definitely coming back again. "

"Stayed 2 nights in twin room. The room was small ,however it had everything we needed. There was tea/ coffe/ hot chocolate available in the room that was replenished daily. The room was warm as we were top floor, but there was a fan provided which was very welcome. The bathroom was very small, and you may find a struggle if on larger size, however like rest of property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and really good. "
"Easy for a night at the theatre. Good value, excellent breakfast. Helpful staff. Limited parking but multi storage about 100 yards down road. Cheaper than roadside for 24hour if no spaces at hotel."

"this is a wonderful hotel, a hidden gem just outside the town, but a pleasant walk via its gardens. it has a super pool, often we were the only ones using it. the food was really good, staff friendly and helpful. a lovely place to stay."
"On first arrival the car park had plenty of space with a gentle slope to reception. Rang the bell to check in. All very pleasant. Guys name is John and he is as nice as they come. Checked in a went to room. All very nice again. It’s what you need on a business trip. Tv. Bed. Kettle and shower. Had a beer in the bar, good selection of tap beers. I’d missed the kitchen due to my arrival time but he offered sandwiches, pizza etc out of hours. Enjoyed a few beers in the bar and got my head down....
"The Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and well maintained. Dining was excellent, The Fishbone restaurant was well laid out and looked wonderful. Plenty of room between tables and the food was top class. Well satisfied few days."
