The property is unique and beautiful. Exquisite preserved details and careful attention to detail in every way. The staff were helpful and always pleasant, the two restaurants offered delicious dishes. We had breakfast several times and it was perfect, especially the espresso drinks and the fresh juices. The rooftop restaurant was very chill and we had a lovely meal there (try the crab tacos!). Central to everything in the historic area, if you are looking to stay in a boutique style hotel with careful attention to every detail, this is your spot!

This boutique hotel is a gem! Located on a smalll square in Centro it is easy to walk to many restaurants and has a ton of character. Spacious open areas give it an expansive feel. Rooms are well equipped and the included breakfast was exceptional.

Wonderful hotel in all categories. The staff is especially friendly and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The room was clean, and breakfast options were delicious. Though the Centro district the hotel is located in was quite busy, the hotel itself is peaceful, and you are within walking distance of major sights. Wonderful stay at a truly great hotel. Historic building is gorgeous, the room was large but cozy and spotless, bed super comfy, the staff is super attentive and kind, breakfast delicious. Tezontle, the rooftop restaurant that is part of the hotel is amazing. Highly recommend Casa de la Luz when staying in the Centro. I’ll be back!

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. Perfect location in the central historical district. It had beautiful common areas and rooms. The staff were always helpful and kind. Everything was 'as advertised' or BETTER! We chose the 'breakfast included' option, and it was fabulous with a full menu of choices. Dinner was also wonderful at Tezontle Restaurant. Stunning hotel with a great roof top restaurant and bar. We had a superior room on second floor which was lovey and big. Breakfast which was included was delicious and varied. Small downside was that our room had an interconnecting room - which when used had no soundproofing. Occasional noise from street - but given where you are, it wasn’t too bad.
