"Hotel is really nice and clean. And front desk staff is very helpful. I got a little leary feeling from a couple of people who were hanging outside by the back door. Not sure if they were staying there but I want to say I don't believe so. I'm not sure how many security cameras are on this property but I feel there should probably be more and also more lighting around the building parking lots and entrances. We stayed at this place 2x on different nights during our vacation trip"
"Situated near the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport in a quiet area. Hotel is very clean, staff are friendly and rooms are comfortable. You will need to drive to other areas for food and activities, but that is the charm of the place making it a quiet place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of other hotels closer to the airport. "The room was spacious and everything looked to be new or recently remodeled. The bathroom was super nice. Loved the walkin shower. Security was very good at the hotel. Had to use your key card to get up to another floor, in the elevator. The Salvation Army was nearby and there were alot of people hanging out outside that building. "Only 10 quick minutes away from Mystic Lake Event Center for our event. The room was Hot (mid July) when we 1st arrived and Quickly cooled off with the AC unit. Having a fridge with freezer was important to us... we had some difficulties with it not being truly COLD, but it was more chilled than our cooler until we got the settings right. "
"We heard about the Hewing from friends and we loved everything including the lobby/bar, our room, it was clean nice and we really enjoyed the rooftop hot tub. 10/10 and we will be back. "
"Great location if you plan on hanging around the mall. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Only complaint was the mattress on the bed could use replacement. Never heard outside noise in room. Will stay again if going to be in this area "
