"My boyfriend and I stayed at Ksar Anika for 3 nights, on our first trip to Marrakech. We loved the ambience of the riad (see photos) and appreciated how clean it was.
All the staff were friendly and easy to speak with. A special mention to Younes (who has a wealth of knowledge about Morocco), Said (for bringing us breakfast with a smile) and Siham (who was kind enough to let us store our luggage for a few hours when we returned from Casablanca and needed to do some last minute shopping).

"I am so glad we chose Dar les Cigognes for our four night stay in Marakech. We loved everything about it. The riad itself is so beautiful; peaceful, restful and cool. The roof terasse is a wonderful place to relax and take coffee and meals. The rooms are very well equipped with lovely big, comfy beds. "We stayed one night at this hotel. We had previously stayed at some beautiful mid-range riads in Marrakech and we were excited to splurge on a higher end hotel. We left frustrated and exhausted. "Positives
- Ibraham, the old caretaker is pleasant & helpful.
- Location very near the Palaces and 15 minutes walk to Jemaa el Fnaa.
- Secluded rooftop terrace and can just about see above the city. Recommend looking out at 8.30am North East. You'll see the hot air balloons in the distance.
- Allowed check-in slightly earlier than planned.
- Can leave luggage on day of leaving so you don't have to carry around the Medina if you have a later flight.

"L'espace aquatique et l'hygiène :
C'est le point noir du séjour. Le parc aquatique semble laissé à l'abandon.
Propreté alarmante : Seules deux piscines étaient correctement nettoyées. Dans toutes les autres, l'eau n'était ni chauffée, ni entretenue, avec une quantité énorme d'insectes et de guêpes mortes flottant à la surface.
L'aquapark : La "rivière" n'est qu'une simple piscine statique (pas de courant ni de bouées). Les toboggans et jeux pour enfants sont vétustes.

"I enjoyed my stay at Riad Lai Ou Lik very much. The owner and the staff made my stay extra special. Marrakech is a busy city so it’s nice to settle in to a clean, quiet, and comfortable room after a day full of activities. The pool was a perfect place to soak after hiking and long walks. The breakfast is the best I had in Morocco. I highly recommend staying at this special Riad. "

"For an all inclusive resort it lacked majorly. The food was good, but there is no late snacks, no room service, and they close 10 min before the actual time. We had to get food delivered because of this. No one comes to ask you for drinks you have to go to the bar. Everything pretty much shuts down by 2300 (11pm). Your kind of forced to go to your room. The gym and spa is not close by to the hotel. Some of the staff were standoffish, but other staff were great. I wouldnt recommend this hotel."

Located 15 mins from Medina and 30 from the airport, the hotel is an oasis of calm.
Set in a huge garden, there are multiple hidden gardens to walk through, with Peacocks roaming alongside cats and ponds with frogs and turtles.
