Hidden in the Medina of Meknes.

Since we were there off season we were the only guests. Got an upgrade to a very nice Deluxe room. Very nice and authentic place. When you arrive the entrance is a bit hidden in an aisle but good signage, you won’t get lost. There is a public parking lot outside the Medina. Just a few minutes walk away. Google maps tries to send you into the Medina, Nice Moroccan breakfast.

It’s situated within the medina which is ideal although you will need to walk a little way from the Main Street to access it. It was down a dirty alleyway with some cats and poo which wasn’t nice. It’s not their area but perhaps they may need to consider how to make that first area more appealing to guests as it looks awful. Inside it was a very nicely decorated Riad. Breakfast was good and useful. I would say if visiting in winter months that this Riad was very cold. The air con didn’t seem to work in heating up the room. This was the one place where I could see my breath so that was a bit of a drawback. I’m sure in the warmer months it’s very comfortable.

The riad is located in a quiet alley of the Medina and although there were some signs leading to the riad, there was no prominent sign on the main door and lighting in the alley was also inadequate. Overall stay at the riad was pleasant and there were beautiful views from the terrace

Beautiful Riad. Big breakfast in the terrace. Good location, everything close and easy. The only problem that we had was trying to communicate since they barely speak English and we barely speak French

The staff who work there are extremely kind and helpful. The Riad itself is more modest than we had imagined from the photos, and would benefit from some Investment to improve its condition. The neighborhood within the Medina is entirely safe but also more run down than other areas within the Medina. Breakfast was delicious.

This Riad was very old. So please don’t expect good facilities. The room was pretty spacious but very dark. Internet was in and out. You can’t make online business meeting here. However staffs are so nice. The reason I gave 4stars, it is all about staff. They make our feelings so much better.

Klimaanlage funktioniert nur eingeschränkt. In der Dusche läuft nicht das ganze Wasser ab. Führt zu einem üblen Geruch, wenn es nicht so heiß ist, daß das Wasser verdunstet. Sauberkeit ist auch für marokkanische Verhältnis ausbaufähig. Die Zimmer sind zudem sehr hellhörig. Frühstück in Ordnung. Lage ebenfalls OK. Für eine Nacht oder so durchaus in Ordnung. Andernfalls etwas anderes suchen.

Una experiencia inolvidable! Desde el momento en que llegamos, el personal fue increíblemente amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos con una sonrisa. Las instalaciones del hotel están impecables, y cada detalle refleja cuidado y dedicación. La habitación era cómoda, limpia y con una decoración encantadora. La ubicación del hotel es perfecta, y su ambiente tranquilo nos permitió relajarnos por completo. Sin duda, lo que más nos encantó fue el trato cálido del equipo, quienes hicieron todo lo posible para que nuestra estancia fuera especial. Eigentlich ruhig gelegen, aber unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoss sehr hellhörig! Man hat nur eine einfache Holztüre ohne Schloss, dient nur dem Sichtschutz. Es gibt auch keinen Schlüssel für die Eingangstüre, jeder muss läuten, wer wie ich einen leichten Schlaf hat, kann erst schlafen, wenn alle im Riad und ruhig sind. Frühstück auf der Terrasse eigentlich sehr gut, aber wenn man im Erdgeschoss zeitgleich abräumt, kann man auf dem Dach auch mal eine halbe Stunde warten, bis man frühstücken kann, da nur eine Person bedient.
