A little small room

Nice, clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, just a small room with a bathroom. Well worth the price. For travelers who like to keep things simple.

I like the blue theme on the whole property starting by the tinted windows something different and How convenient it is because of the location. Things i didn't like was the tv, it was outdated no apps at all couldnt watch Netflix or YouTube or any other content. When i first walked in there was a window open that i almost couldn't even close. The small table like stands next to the beds where about to fall of the walls, i rented a room for 3 people and did not had 3 towels. Had to call the front desk more then once to ask for an extra towel. Parking was straight but u cannot park more then 3 cars. Also went to the rooftop and it looked pretty good with tables , bar and a jacuzzi that u had to book 4 hrs before in case u wanted to use it. In my case i give this hotel 2 and half rating.

Hotel Laureles Plaza is a very good choice overall. Highlights of this hotel are: 6th floor jacuzzi (open until 9 pm), yummy free buffet breakfast (free coffee is available in the lobby anytime) and location (so many dining options in the second safest neighbourhood in Medellín, the Laureles). If you like purchasing your own grocery like me, there is a D1 store less than 3 minutes away walking. Most staff were very helpful except the first one who helped me check in as he ignored my online check in which I spent 30 minutes filling it… and he needed help by another staff to complete my manual check in. The room is very small in general but it has an air conditioner. There are no coffee or tea making machines. There is a mini fridge … with mini bar … I suggest buying your groceries (like water or juice or snacks) from outside. There is a safe in the room. My hand/wash soap was empty when I checked in … and I had to go downstairs to fill it in. Bed and pillows are comfortable. There is only one light in the whole room … and two in washroom. Very simple room. There were many ants on the washroom floor … every day. I love sitting on the 6th floor or using the Jacuzzi… amazing experience.
