I was pleasantly surprised by how well this hotel was maintained. Everything felt fresh, the common areas were tidy, and my room was spotless. It was a relaxing place to unwind after a long day. The front desk staff was welcoming without being overbearing, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. For the price, this was an excellent value, and I'd be happy to stay here again whenever I'm in McAlester.

Don't let all the "10/10" reviews fool you into thinking this is a great hotel. Our experience was far less than that. Our first room we got, the AC didn't work and the sheets on the beds were dirty. We immediately went back to check in and asked for a refund, but staff and management insisted we try a different room before they'd give a refund. Second room was okay enough to stay in for the night, sheets were clean and while the AC looked like it had been there since the 90s, it at least worked. There were however other issues with that room! The door was broken and wouldn't properly latch, the floors were cracked, broken, and torn up in places, the bathroom faucet was leaking, the AC unit leaked inside the room, the curtains were torn, and the dresser drawers were torn up as well and smelled horrible. The nighttime staff we had was decent, but the morning staff was nowhere to be found. Even after ringing their alert bell, we waited at least 5 minutes before someone came to the desk to check us out. Needless to say it was definitely not a 10/10 experience and personally I'd give it a 2/10, not a good experience and we definitely won't be returning to this hotel.

Finding the place at midnight was tough. It is literally behind Walmart and very sketch. We walked in and it smelled right from the start. We finally got a room THAT we had reserved ahead of time. The room was so dirty. Floors had not been swept under or behind or near any furniture. When I pulled the sheets back a bug went running from under the pillow. The pullout couch was our third bed that we needed and it looked like it had been taken from a dumpster. I think it is time to let it go and buy a new one. We made it all work since we only had 6 hours before we needed to get back on the road. That night a bad storm rolled in and our window decided to leak flooding the window sill and making a dripping sound all night. It was a rough night. The listing was very deceiving.

I had such a great stay at the Quality Inn while visiting the McAlester Scottish Rite Masonic Temple. The location was perfect - close enough to make getting to the temple quick and easy. Everything about the stay was smooth, from the friendly staff to the clean, comfortable room. It was exactly what I needed to relax and recharge. The breakfast was great and overall atmosphere was pleasant. It was a great experience all around, and I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit to McAlester.

Bedbug alert!! Concerns/issues with this hotel- 1) Attention to detail - first thing I saw after checking in was the 'Buisiness Center ' sign. Minor typo, but made me wonder about the attention to detail. 2) I was directed to the elevator. Sign on the elevator said it was out of order. 3) The key card didn't work so had to take stairs from 3rd floor to 1st floor. Re-coded the card, back up the steps. Not the easiest trek after hip replacement and carrying luggage. Still didn't work. Clerk came up to assist. Great! I never would have thought to insert the card upside down. Instructions would have helped. Minor annoyance. 4) BEDBUGS!!!!! When I reported to the manager I was told that I only saw one so that's acceptable. They do a thorough cleaning if the guests say they see hundreds. Not acceptable to me. I paid for a service and I expect cleanliness. I was left with the impression that bedbugs are common at this hotel. Never coming back to this hotel!!!!!!

Stayed at Quality Inn & Suites McAlester during a road trip and it was exactly what I needed - easy, comfortable , and no stress. Quick check-in, clean room, and I slept really well. The free hot breakfast was a great bonus, and I liked that the TV had apps like Netflix etc. available to use. A smooth, reliable stay - I'd definitely come back !

Stayed at Quality Inn & Suites in McAlester, OK for an event at the Southeast Expo center and had a smooth, comfortable experience. The location is ideal-just minutes from the expo center, which made attending the event super convenient. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was welcoming. Free hot breakfast and easy parking were nice bonuses. Great budget-friendly hotel in McAlester if you're visiting the Southeast Expo Center.

Toilet handle was broken and given to staff and they put the handle back on the toilet a d it fell off a 2nd time. Bathroom sink had long black hairs in it. TV remote would not change channels - TV needed setup performed. Room was very noisy from sounds in hallway and adjacent rooms - poor soundproofing. Elevator had problems with the brake making extreme noise when stopping during going up.
