"Newer, modern hotel. We had a wonderful experience. Very friendly, helpful staff, and super fun bartenders in the lounge. Close to many shops, restaurants. Valet staff- excellent! Front counter staff- excellent!
One goofy note- my husband detected an odor near the elevators on the fourth floor he thought to be dog urine. It is a dog friendly hotel, and things happen. We get it. We informed the front desk and the employee said they would see to it right away."
"The room was very comfortable. A magnified mirror in the bathroom would be so appreciated. It’s time to redo the lobby to combine check-in with an inviting lounge with some good bar food. This could also include your breakfast area. Get a designer in to accomplish this. Your staff are woefully uninformed about regional parking and price."
"Our room smelled like a wet dog. Where i love animals, I don't appreciate smelling them while we sleep. We won't be staying at a hotel that allows pets if there aren't dedicated no pets rooms. Another room in our party had mold in the shower ceiling and the fan wasn't working so they moved rooms."
"This hotel was in a great location to easily walk downtown or hop on the freeway to head further out. Our room was clean, had everything we needed, and felt pretty spacious for the two of us. Just a note - our room did face the hotel across the street and if you don't have one of the shades down, you can see in their room and they can see in your room. The mattress wasn't our favorite, but that's a personal preference. Parking was generally readily available in the hotel lot ($25/day self parking) during the week, but it got pretty crowded heading into the weekend.
The front desk staff was fantastic, always kind and friendly. We had a couple questions during our stay and each time, with different staff, they were super helpful and went above and beyond to take care of us.
We had a week-long stay and had breakfast on-site 3 days of our stay as a quick option before heading out on adventures. It was great! Wonderful service and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. We also tried the rooftop bar for a light dinner one night and were a bit underwhelmed. The views were nice, cocktails were good, but service was slow and we didn't feel the food was worth the price. Perhaps we just caught a bad night, others seem to love it.
Overall, we would stay here again if we ever return to Asheville and would recommend it as a great option for others."
