"The staff were very accommodating even when we were early, they managed to sort out a spotless room with 3 double beds, and was lovely and spacious. The downside is the expensive parking £24 for 2 days. Not sure why it's not free. It's on a retail park."

The rooms are very comfortable and cosy, they are tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard. "Stayed at the Ivy Hill Hotel for a couple of nights visiting family for Christmas. An excellent hotel for a quiet break but within easy reach of London. Staff were fantastic. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast - both very nice. We were given a room upgrade and it was more spacious than our previous visit - very comfortable. Would definitely book again."

"Room was very clean. A big undertaking considering the building works outside. (There was a chute right outside my window. Brick and muck on the window sill outside). A very big well done to the Cleaner!! Your Reception Team were charming, friendly and very helpful. Always smiling. Excellent!! Breakfast, which was included, was very good, except the sausages - very poor quality. I would definitely stay there again. "
