"It’s terrible how they make you pay for parking in their own parking structure and to top it off they still post Park at your own risk! Really? Just terrible. And all of these hotels do this in San Diego. Very greedy. The person at the front desk seemed like he needed medical attention, he was gasping for air the whole time he was talking to us. He was an older heavy set man. The hotel was a little loud in the hallways at night with people going in and out. Rooms could’ve been cleaner."

"Clean and spacious. I’ve stayed at many of the big chain hotels in San Diego an in the same area. This is my new go to hotel when visiting. Linens were clean, soft and comfy. Only negative for me is that if you plan on a visitor or are driving more than one vehicle I was told only one vehicle per room. "

"The staff was helpful, friendly no matter the hour. The bed while firm, was very comfortable for a budget hotel option (more comfortable than some $400+ a night rooms I’ve stayed in tbh). Shower had fixtures that were coming off the wall but a) everything still worked and the water was nice and hot. Breakfast had a good variety and was replenished and kept very clean by the staff but definitely go earlier for more options and no line. Would recommend!"

"Here’s a cleaner and more professional version of your review while still keeping your honest experience and concerns clear: The hotel is average overall, but considering how expensive hotels in San Diego County can be, I do think this is an affordable option for the price. I found the property to be clean, and while I experienced a couple of issues of safety that had me at edged. The main concern happened during check-in. I had reserved a two-bedroom room, but when I arrived, I was assigned a one-bedroom instead. Once I entered the room, I quickly realized it was already occupied because there were personal belongings in the closet belonging to another guest. That honestly made me very uncomfortable. While I understand mistakes can happen, situations like this are serious because it means someone could accidentally walk into an occupied room. I could have walked in while someone was sleeping or resting, and the same could have happened to me during my stay. After that incident, my experience was fairly average—nothing particularly impressive, but nothing terrible either. I live far away and occasionally need a place to stay because I work near hospitals in San Diego County, so convenience is important for me when choosing a hotel. so I don’t believe I’ll be coming back as safety is a big issue for me."

"The hotel is very old and you can tell. Everything is run down and needs to be replaced. Our room was filthy and beat up. There were stains on the ceiling, all the furniture needs to be replaced, there were spiders, the bathroom was dirty (a poop stain on the toilet seat), trash still in the room from the last people, the carpet was wrinkled and torn in places. The redeeming quality is the fact that the staff is nice and there was free breakfast. Parking was incredibly difficult, he spots were tiny."
