I found the Oakdale Inn to be a beautiful property and I would stay there again if traveling to Martinsville. It was only about six miles from the Martinsville speedway and very easy to get there. The manager of the property, Erin served a wonderful breakfast on the two mornings my grandson and I were there.

Such a fantastic B&B stay! The Inn is beautiful and immaculately clean with so many amenities (lovely shampoo/conditioner/cotton swabs/etc ) and thoughtful treats (cookies, snacks, tea and coffee, and more!). The breakfast was huge and delicious and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Perfect stay for our family- we will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area!

Outstanding property - large elegant home, beautifully decorated, quiet street/neighborhood, very comfortable suite, older bathroom but everything works fine. On-site property manager, Erin, is a sheer delight - extremely pleasant and helpful, prepared two spectacular breakfasts. 20 out of 10, cannot recommend highly enough!

This is a charming B&B / Inn in a beautifully renovated Manor house. he kitchen was fully modernized and complete with all needed cookware, dishes , spices & tools, coffee & tea etc. Hardwood floors, antique tile & bath fittings and wood paneled rooms were wonderfully restored without eliminating their antique charm. The Innkeeper was available to show me in and answer questions, then retired to give me my privacy, staying a text message away if needed. Now I need to find an excuse to take my wife there for a stay! This was just a business overnight for me, so I wasn't able to enjoy all the gorgeous shared spaces.

Absolutely incredible stay at Oakdale Inn! The home is stunning, with a rich Martinsville story behind it—spacious, elegant, and full of character in every room. Erin, the innkeeper, is an absolute gem: warm, attentive, and welcoming. The private theater with its big projector felt like our own cinema, the game room gave us space to laugh and unwind, and the outdoor patio with string lights was the perfect spot to relax at night. From the décor to the thoughtful welcome tray, every detail made us feel right at home. Can’t recommend Oakdale Inn highly enough—we’ll definitely be back!

I'm now thinking of other reasons to come to Martinsville just to stay here! A very beautiful and inviting property. Loved using the common areas and cooking in the kitchen. The tomatoes from the garden are delicious! The innkeeper has provided so many thoughtful touches to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. Amazing snack tray in our rooms made us feel pampered. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows of all firmness and most importantly comfortable mattresses made for grrat sleeping. Their signature soap/hair care blend smells amazing. Cant recommend enough!
