"Great stay with comfortable bed, spacious and modern interior and decor. Nice city views, and convenient and walkable to restaurants, shops, in heart of downtown Pittsburgh. Would highly recommend above just an average hotel stay since it was in same price range."

"Front desk lady was on rude. She gave me my card and said that’s your room number and nothing else. Whatever, I can live with that. But when I got to the room there was NO toilet paper. I went to the lady at the front desk who was talking on her personal phone and I asked for some toilet paper for the room and she said they were out & there was no alternatives and she continued to talk on her phone. The room was dirty with food cakes on the handle. Very uncomfortable to sleep at. "

"Don't trust the pictures on the web. Mold growing on the tables by the pool and algae on the windows. To re-enter the hallway, to go to our room from the pool, we had to walk outside in the 35 degree weather because the door handle had been removed from the inside of the door. At one point, as we left to go to a soccer game, a family had propped the pool door open so they didn't have to go outside....smart on their part. The carpeted hallways had not been swept when we arrived and were the same when we left. The fresh burning marijuana from the rooms wafted down the hallway as we walked to our room. The pictures of the continental breakfast on the website are generous. There was but half of what is shown on the website. The cabinets had waffle batter splattered on the front of them from god knows when. The room appeared clean. The door safety latch was broken and did not work. There was plenty of towels and washcloths. That was probably the nicest of the experience. We will not be back."

"The only "amenity" is the bar, which rarely has many people. The staff tend to spend a fair amount of energy resenting working there. The rooms are fine, spacious with spacious bathrooms and decent linens. The location is fine for walking to places to eat. Dashers and drivers sometimes have trouble finding the entrance. "

"Not a fan of the no-staff on site sort of thing. It's supposed to all be automated but I can't stand signing in through a bunch of apps and making accounts just to get into my room. I had an issue or two while there that I wanted to ask a staff person about (parking options nearby, procedure for X or Y at the hotel) and instead I just found myself doing guestwork. The place itself was fine enough, but I just can't say it was any better than okay with how awful it was to bumble around like an idiot to try to figure things out rather than have a staff person help."

"Loved staying at the William Penn Omni. Excellent location within walking distance of theaters, Market Square, Station Sq, museums, restaurants and the Strip district. The staff was friendly and helpful (especially enjoyed talking to Patrick who was our bartender). The room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again!!"
