"We stayed for three nights. There was absolutely no service, no cleaning at all, and remnants of the previous guest’s trash were still in the room. My body broke out in severe hives from the very first night, which gradually worsened. Considering the price we paid, the service was extremely poor."

"Positives - beautiful hotel in great grounds. Had tea in the restaurant which was very good. Bed was huge. Negatives - couldn't get bath to work and my wife was kept awake during the night by noise in room next door. Use of the spa was £20 per person (which I was willing to pay) but was then told we couldn't use it until 5pm. We'd arrived at 3pm with plan to go in spa before our friends arrived later. "

"Spotless clean room very polite staff drinks not over priced Only fault is the doors to rooms get slammed shut very loud not the hotels problem tho guest need to be a little bit more careful and think of others"

"Clean room, helpful and friendly staff, pool was great but changing rooms were a bit old and in need of a refresh (as is the whole hotel, such as the carpets and corridors being musty with peeling paint); rooms and restaurant and bar areas were all very clean and well-maintained. The property as a whole just needs some attention and upgrading. "

"The tv in the room didn’t work I called reception they said someone was on the way up to the room - they never came Peacock out side the room all night and morning squawking and people running up and down the corridors all night "
