"I am wary of doing chain hotels but chose to stay here due to the location and the fact it boasted a "fitness facility". The location was convenient as it was sited at a Welcome Break services. I was able to park close to the entrance. I was warmly greeted but on checking in found out that there was a separate £5 charge for overnight parking which was not disclosed at the outset of booking the accommodation. There were multiple dining options either within the services complex or at the hotel...

"unfortunately they had a computer breakdown and we could not check in at midnight. the manager worked very hard to help us and other guests but we were tired and chose this hotel after travelling from salzburg."

The staff are all fantastic, friendly, helpful, and even though they are all busy they are all really cheerful and take time to interact with you. Yes, admittedly the rooms look a little tired and dated, but they are clean, have everything you need and more importantly I sleep like a log here as the bedding is lovely and the beds extremely comfortable. "For a solo traveller, if you need a clean and safe place to stay overnight, this place is sufficient. Room is tiny and one person could barely turn around. Bathroom and ac will be the amenities provided. Checkout was 10am so I barely could sleep in, also I heard clearly and constantly that neighbours’ doors were closed. Parking is at the back and a short walk to Thames river and train station. Staffs were friendly. Anyway you paid for what you got."

"Amenities are very good. Sauna, Steam room and Family swimming. However, not so soundproof. People stamping and running around on corridors. Group gym starts early and you can hear the music from even 2 floors up. Paid extra for comfort but seems like it was better off booking at Travelodge, at least I expect less. Shower poorly maintained. Mould formation on the. shower."
