"We stayed in one of the bungalows with the hanging net and absolutely loved it! The bungalow was beautiful, cozy and surrounded by nature, and the hanging net quickly became our favorite place to relax. We traveled with our pet, who is basically our son 😂, and I cannot say enough about how wonderfully the staff treated him. They treated him like an absolute king! It meant so much to us to stay somewhere that didn’t just accept him, but genuinely made him feel welcome. The entire team was warm, thoughtful and incredibly attentive throughout our stay. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Such a beautiful and unique place."

"Absolutely beautiful place! The property is even more stunning in person, surrounded by nature with such a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. What really made our stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had an amazing experience. We stayed in the Sultana Tent with the private pool and I highly recommend it! It was beautiful, private, spacious, and such a unique experience. Having our own pool surrounded by the jungle made it feel like our own little tropical escape. From the moment we arrived until we left, the attention to detail and service were exceptional. We felt completely taken care of. If you’re visiting Manuel Antonio and want something different from a typical hotel, this place is truly special. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Beautiful apartment with huge windows overlooking the backyard rain forest! The clean spaces (kitchen, two bathrooms, dining area, sitting area, walk-in closet, and bedroom area) let us relax after a busy day of hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, shopping, and eating delicious Costa Rican food. The breakfast choices were nice. The parking was close to the room. The pool looked inviting, but we chose to spend our time in the Pacific Ocean. The location is close to Quepos and close to Manuel Antonio National Park."

"Tico Tico was the ideal place for our two-week stay while we attended Spanish School in Quepos. We stayed in villa #12 which was exactly as shown in the photos. It was spacious, clean, and had a great open, modern aesthetic. And A/C!!! Having the kitchen was fantastic. We used the stove every day to cook eggs for breakfasts, and when we didn't want to eat out for lunch and dinner, we made sandwiches and salads. They even provided a hot water kettle so we could make coffee and tea. The location was perfect--5 minutes on the bus to Quepos in one direction and 10 minutes to Manuel Antonio in the other. And the bus stops directly in front which was super convenient. The pool was gorgeous and provided a wonderful place to cool off after being out in the heat. And the hammocks on the covered pavilion were a great place to read and study. The staff was friendly, helpful and responsive. The owner even drove us into town one day when we *just* missed the bus and needed to get to class quickly. The ONLY complaint we had was that the road noise could sometimes get loud. The property is located close to the road and the noise from the motor bikes (especially) was annoying when sitting outside in the pavilion or the pool. When indoors, it was not a problem. I normally don't book through a 3rd party, but we got a very good rate through Expedia. It was about $30/day less than booking through Tico Tico directly, which for a two-week stay really added up."

"Our stay at Gaia Hotel & Reserve was wonderful, but what truly made it exceptional was the outstanding level of service. From the moment we arrived, we were incredibly impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine attentiveness of the entire staff. You can tell that providing exceptional service is part of the culture of this hotel. Everyone made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease throughout our stay. A few people especially stood out: Chris at the front desk and concierge was fantastic—always attentive, knowledgeable, and ready to help. Oscar was wonderful from the moment we arrived, helping with our luggage and transporting us around the property with such kindness and a great attitude. The restaurant staff was equally impressive, especially Abraham and Jack, along with the rest of the team, who were consistently warm, helpful, and attentive. The property itself is beautiful, but for us, the people were the true highlight. Exceptional hospitality and a level of service that we will absolutely remember. Thank you to the entire Gaia team for making our stay in Manuel Antonio so special!"
