I though the breakfast was week. Good if you’re an Ecuadorian but lacking for an American. Let’s see some hash browns, bacon. Staff was good, especially for Ecuador where customer service can be rather poor.

I only stayed one night, I didn’t have time to use all the amenities, however I loved the location and the plaza at the end of the street. The only unpleasant part was the odor we perceived in the room, it smelled like sulfur when we entered, then it was on and off. But the beds were comfortable and the breakfast awesome.

I stayed a weekend in this 5 star hotel and my experience was amazing. From the minute you arrive the staff will make you feel like a VIP guest. At the front desk Melanie Moreira did everything for us to have an absolutely awesome stay. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The staff is so friendly and make you feel welcome at all times. There are lots of places to walk to nearby to get food, the area is safe and near the Mall del Pacifico and Playa Murciélago. The pool is so spacious and safe for kids in the shallow area, sunsets by the pool are stunning and it’s a must to get they specialty cocktails at the pool bay. I will definitely come back to 5 star hotel. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your excellent customer service and for making my family vacation so special!

I was extremely disappointed with the hotel because I kindly requested a partial refund due to the fact that I could not stay at the hotel at all due to a travel schedule conflict, and they refused to do that. Extremely disappointed and will not soon be visiting this hotel chain in the future. Expedia also let me down but blamed the hotel’s manager for ultimately refusing.

I was disappointed with how the IVA exemption was handled. As a visitor who lives outside Ecuador, I should not have been charged IVA. Unfortunately, no one informed me of this during check-in or payment. When I realized the mistake and tried to explain it, I was told that a refund was not possible. Their explanation was that the employee who assisted me was new and failed to mention that foreign visitors who live abroad are eligible for the VAT-IVA exemption. The process is actually very simple—they only need to verify your passport and process the IVA refund. Instead of correcting the mistake, they refused to help. I hope the hotel improves its staff training and informs international guests about this benefit to avoid the same situation happening to others.

Customer service was not excellent nor good. There were children in the pool area at 9pm when the pool closes and the staff at the time turned the lights off making it impossible for the children to look for there things to walk out. Staff was not so friendly unless you flashed money at them. I was over charged a few times after drinking alcohol.

The beach was closed due to contruction and we were never advised in advance. The food and staff wre very nice and plasent, but no beach during vacation is a travesty. We moved to another hotel agter a few days.
