Recommended for Relaxation

Very pleasant stay, beautiful and quiet hotel, large room, can listen the waves and relax all day. The nightly a la carte menu at the restaurant was excellent. Reliable dive tour operator just outside the gate.

The rooms were clean and large. Even though it is somewhat worn and dated, everything worked. We had one issue with the A/C remote that was fixed immediately. The staff were all warm and friendly. We arrived late and the restaurant just closed but Kaden and her colleagues scrambled around to get us snacks and a beverage. We had all our meals in the onsite restaurant and they were all good. Breakfast buffet was good value. My wife and I had a spa treatment for two. My wife said it was the best massage she’s ever had.

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. Beautiful pool area and significantly cheaper than hotels of a similar standard in the more popular parts of Bali. Candidasa is very nice too if you’re liking for something a little more laid back.

It takes about two hours from the airport, so it might not be worth it for a short stay. However, especially for divers, the resort is ideal — there’s a dive shop right in front, the dive sites are nearby, and clear water. The service from this hotel was amazing - even from before arrival, as they were able to assist in coordaining airport transfers (very smooth and easy experience) along with hiring a private driver for a day tour. The Hotel and staff were beautiful, views amazing, rooms well appointed and felt spacious. Had a lovely stay!!

The grounds of the property are very beautiful & I loved the privacy of the garden bungalow. The resort is remote & the area is very quiet. I enjoyed lazing by the pool. The gym is small, but adequate, & the Sianmay dive shop is just outside the gates.

Gorgeous property

An absolutely beautiful property overlooking the ocean with a great restaurant/bar, an ample pool, and lovely rooms laid out in garden settings. There is no beach here, and that's a long story that has to do with Bali itself, but nice beaches exist in the vicinity. I can't say enough about how lovely the staff were. Truly charming and welcoming. The town/village is also nice (especially around the lotus pond).

Peaceful paradise

The hotel is right on the water with the restaurant, pool and sandy areas right at waters edge. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as the one at the hotel. And there are plenty of things to do close by like snorkeling, Virgin Beach and Water Temples. The spa is excellent and the hotel staff are so friendly and helpful.

Hotel was stunning! Gardens and Pool Area were amazing! Staff from all sections were very attentive.Shout out to Kadek at the restaurant in the evenings, young guy who went out of his way to assist and give individualised service! We had an Ocean view room which was wonderful, can hear waves on beach, although room 213 close to pool area so not very private. Bit of a distance to town area, and whilst shuttle was advertised at set times, taxi service is available from reception for 30k which is a far better option (although not mentioned at check in - would suggest in future). Buffet breakfast was nice, restaurant meals were good, but drink prices quite expensive (65k a small Bintang outside prices around 35k). Definitely would stay again.

Candidasa is a perfect area to get away from the hustle and bustle of South Bali, and the Ramayana is a top-notch resort to unwind. The pool is excellent, plenty of western and local dining options, and diving boat pickup literally next door. Love this place and I'll definitely be back!!

We were impressed with the staff from the first greeting at reception through to our housekeepers and restaurant staff. The property is a little tired, however if you can see past that you will love it. The spa was terrific, I ended up going there almost every day of our stay. I would definitely recommend this one!

The resorts service good and friendly, room clean, bed comfortable, restaurant’s view nice also. But too faraway from DPS airport, almost taking 2+ more hours drive when traffic time. Candidasa town nothing to see, only Ubud can shop.

This is a clean beautiful resort on the sea. You can book a boat for snorkelling from the beach. The buffet breakfast is great. You csn reserve taxis very cheaply for the whole day. The internet is fast. The Ac works well. However there is no elevator and it is far from most sites and from the cruise terminal and the airport.

Gorgeous views from the hotel of the ocean. Amazing pool area, overlooking the sea. Panorama ocean view in the hotel restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. I got a free room upgrade. Great massage in the hotel spa. Smaller things that could be improved, but overall I'm very pleased with my stay and chose to extend it.

Little oasis

Fantastic hotel. The minute we walked in we were greeted with huge Bali smiles, a drink on arrival and a cold flannel to cool us down. Hotel room was very spacious with loads of room to place your clothes. Good a/c which is a bonus. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection.
