"Pros: The lodge was decent, clean and accessible to all amenities in Aruba! It’s literally 5 minutes away from the airport and everything you need is about 5 minutes in proximity driving. The check in process was easy, the area is safe. You get a key to lock the gate when you come and leave. They use an honor system when it comes to that. There’s a beautiful pool as soon as you enter the lodge and there is free parking. Also you get a stove and fridge with dishes and cutleries for your convenience. Cons- we did t have any room service. We had to keep asking for things that should be available. Example: we had to keep asking for towels and toilet paper, but had room service come, they would’ve seen that it’s needed. Someone stole the baby’s bathing suit. There was not much attention to customer service, the hole thing seemed transactional with little to no human contact. Overall it’s an 8/10. They need to do better with customer service and attention to details and common needs of the guest. Thanks for having us. "

"Very nice place, the dogs make it better. Super clean, we also had a pool which was amazing. Rent a car if you want to stay here since it’s far from activities by walk, but it’s perfectly placed with half way between the Noord and Sam Nicolas."

"Nice little boutique hotel. Few rooms surounding a pool with a few places to sit. Room was good. This is a very good budget option. And, if you are light on luggage totally walkable from the airport. With a few shops near bye to grab things. Would stay again 100% Go to Don Jacindo for dinner! Colombian food, off the hook! "

"Aaaaaah Serene by the Sea. What a perfect name. I booked my flight and stay on a Monday and landed in Aruba that following Friday. Being an entrepreneur + lawyer + living in New York City = as you can imagine, I was in desperate need of some serious R&R. Serene by the Sea was everything I needed for my solo trip and more! When I arrived, I was greeted by the owner and her son (I believe) who were happy to welcome me and take me to my room. I dropped by bags off and could not get my bathing suit on fast enough to get out and enjoy the sun, the sea, and the beautiful scenery. I woke every morning to grab some sun and the delicious breakfast made by the house chef (who is the owner's brother and also doubles as a driver and tour guide if you need one). I took daily naps in a hammock while listening to crashing waves. I sat out on the beach chairs journaling, listening to relaxing music on my little speaker, and just having some good 'ol quality time with God. Before I headed out, I had a lovely massage on the Serene Floating Massage deck. What a lovely, relaxing experience! There is a sign that says "come as guests and leave as friends" and this is so true! If you're in need of some quiet time and relaxation away from the noise of everyday life, I highly recommend you consider Serene by the Sea. You won't regret it!"
