We were SO lucky to score a last minute reservation at Aloe B&B! Our flight was cancelled late in the evening and Dirk, Mariel and family warmly welcomed two very tired travelers. The property is gorgeous including the gardens and pool area (our favorites!). Our room was spacious, spotless and stylish. The location is perfect as a walkable grocery allowed us to prepare a late night meal in our kitchenette. We will happily return to our home away from home and give Bella a few extra hugs. My stay at Hotel Aloe B & B was genuinely one of the most enjoyable and relaxing experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, the owners made me feel incredibly welcome. They were warm, attentive, and truly went out of their way to create a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. You can tell they take a lot of pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail of the property and the overall guest experience. One of the highlights of the stay was the pool area. It was clean, well-maintained, and the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Whether you want to take a refreshing dip or just relax poolside, it added a nice place for my kids to play. There was Bella, the friendly dog who roamed around. She added such a unique and welcoming vibe—it felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being a guest at a friend’s beautiful home. If you’re a dog lover, Bella will definitely make your stay even more memorable. The location is also a major plus. It’s conveniently situated close to everything you’d want to see and do, making it easy to explore the area without hassle. At the same time, it still manages to feel peaceful and tucked away enough to truly relax. Overall, Hotel Aloe B & B offers the perfect combination of comfort, charm, and hospitality. This is a B&B run by a lovely Dutch couple. They were polite, friendly, generous and accommodating. Our room was large and clean, with a/c and ceiling fan which is a rare treat as someone who really loves to sleep under a fan. Our large picture window looked out on a beautiful green tree filled yard which is where you will also find a well appointed outdoor kitchen and an area for sitting and eating out by the pool. The neighborhood was quiet but located a very short drive from downtown and busy tourist beaches a shopping areas. The owners have beach equipment to rent for just a few dollars a day. We were only in town 3 days and 2 nights unfortunately, but this proved a great home away from home and we felt like we were in a great location to see and do a ton.

Mariel and Dirk were absolutely wonderful hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. The room was as nice as a 5 star hotel in Aruba but much more affordable. Dirk and Mariel are the best hosts! The property was easy to get to, I felt very safe, it was super clean and the room was a beautiful size. I was able to relax, unwind and not worry about anything. My hosts even set up decorations for my birthday!!! The only downside I experienced was constant dogs barking, but that came from a neighbour’s property and my hosts were not to blame. The pool and pool area was beautiful, and the extra amenities were everything I needed. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone, 10 out of 10, and I will definitely be back. Dirk and Mariel made my first visit to Aruba a wonderful experience and a lasting memory..
