A musky smell which hits you instantly . No shuttle service which wasn’t stated at the time of the booking . Okay government guidelines ! But no kettle , no iron , no tea coffee facilities , and no WiFi . No restaurant and no bar unless you wanted bottled beer at silly price . Hotel used covid as an excuse yet bars and restaurants are open everywhere . Room very shabby with broken curtains , badly stained furniture and carpets and generally awful . I made my complaints with both the hotel and with hotel.com neither of any use .
The information on how to access the free shuttle and that it didn't run before 5am was not obvious and I missed it. When I rang from the shuttle stop to check times they came immediately and were very friendly. Dinner was excellent as well.
I only stayed one night. I was catching an early morning flight the following day from Manchester airport. The hotel is less than half a mile from the airport with a shuttle bus, so it was ideal.
Excellent for our overnight stay before flying. Would definitely recommend. Extremely helpful when having to arrange to leave a car at last minute after trains weren’t running.
Navette gratuite pour l'aéroport dès 5H00 du matin.
Personnel très aimable et attentionné.
Chauffeur de la navette très sympathique
Dîner au bar à prix raisonnables
je recommande
Great location for the airport and the staff were very welcoming and helpful - especially when my flight was cancelled and I had to stay an extra night. Free shuttle to and from the airport, which they allowed me to use when sorting out my delay - would recommend and book again.
We stayed here on a stop over in Manchester before our flight back to LA. This hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. It is very close to the airport and with a shuttle to the airport it allows you to have extra time in bed before your flight. I totally recommend it and I will stay here again.
I booked 3 rooms for business colleagues and 2 out of the 3 were unacceptable. One was badly damaged by what looked like an electrical fire and the bathroom was not clean. The rooms were dated in decor but it was the lack of cleanliness that was unacceptable.
We have stayed there at least 4 times when flying out of Manchester Airport. They pick us up from the train station in 5 mins and drop us off right out side the terminal.
Hotel is older but comfortable staff are excellent

The staff are still excellent especially the manageress in the restaurant. Disappointed with the shuttle service being cut down.

Room and bathroom was cold! No heating in the bathroom at all, not even a heated towel rail, coupled with the tiled floor, it was very cold! Bathroom had mould in the shower. It’s a bit tired unfortunately and I was in a ‘club’ room. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Decent hotel , friendly staff willing to go that bit extra.
Only thing that bothered me? Don't forget your charging plug. There are no USB sockets in the rooms, and no place to get a plug.
Older, however well-maintained hotel. Hotel shuttle from the rental village at Terminal 3 was requested and arrived promptly. Rooms are nice, clean and cosy and noise from flights can hardly be heard and won't disturb your sleep. Food at the restaurant is ok, however not a culinary treat.
All in all I can recommend this hotel for anyone who need accommodation close to Manchester Airport.
