The hotel is located in a safe area, and we enjoyed the view from our room. However, the overall cleanliness was disappointing. The glass in the shower was noticeably dirty, and the bedroom had a worn and outdated appearance. With a bit more attention to maintenance and cleanliness, it could be a much better experience.

Needs updating for 2023

The hotel has great staff but it need a serious update. I paid for an upgrade cause the room I got looked very tired and the view was awful. Would not pick this hotel for a longer stay.

The only things this property had going for it was the proximity to the river and nice patio/pool area. Otherwise it was LONG overdue for renovations and was not kept very clean. The free breakfast was average at best. The best part was not having hot water in our shower. Telling them about this resulted in nothing being done too. A cold shower is a great way to start the day! I would NOT recommend this place unless the location is the only thing that mattere to you.

Overall experience was very positive. However, management was completely inflexible in negotiating a last minute situation (partial refund or anything else). Also, lots of construction happening in the facility and around. Sauna needs to be booked in advance and privately for no reason (it can accommodate 10 people or more).

Hotel itself is nice. There is construction going on all around it that takes away from the immediate beauty of the surroundings. Pool is great, views are amazing of the Amazon River and beach. The neighborhood is the ritziest in Manaus and very safe to walk or jog in day or night. WiFi for the first time (I have stayed here a dozen times) was slow to non-operational. Key card would not work and had to be reprogrammed 3 days out of the 5 I stayed there. I would definitely return!

🇩🇪 Deutsch Am besten einen großen Bogen um dieses Hotel machen. Überall ist es dreckig oder kaputt. Seit Jahren nicht renoviert. Frühstück furchtbar: Tische dreckig, Rührei kalt, kaum Auswahl. Wir hatten keine Handtücher, und auf Nachfrage bekamen wir dreckige. Am nächsten Tag wurden sie trotz Nachfrage nicht gewechselt. Wasser läuft nicht ab, Fön und Duschregler sind lose. Vor der Anreise haben wir per E-Mail und über Expedia gefragt, ob wir nachts einchecken können, da unser Flug spät gelandet ist. Es kam keine Antwort. Kein Zimmerservice, neues Toilettenpapier kam nur nach Nachfrage. Schlechtes Hotel, schlechtes Essen, schlechter Service. Ich vermute, die guten Bewertungen sind gekauft. Nie wieder Tropical Executive. ⸻ 🇬🇧 Englisch Better avoid this hotel. Everywhere you look it’s dirty or broken. It hasn’t been renovated in years. Breakfast is terrible: dirty tables, cold scrambled eggs, almost no choice. We had no towels, and when we asked, they gave us dirty ones. The next day, even after asking again, the dirty towels were not replaced. The water doesn’t drain, the hairdryer and shower controls are loose. Before arrival we asked by email and through Expedia if we could check in at night, because our flight landed late. We never got an answer. No room service, new toilet paper only came after asking. Bad hotel, bad food, bad service. I think the good reviews are fake. Never again Tropical Executive.

Só tive problemas na minha hospedagem. A começar pela reserva, como iria desembarcar de um cruzeiro em Manaus às 08h da manhã, tive que reservar duas diárias, porém o cruzeiro atrasou e eu só cheguei no hotel às 14h, porém a atendente me disse que seria impossível devolver o valor de uma estadia. O hotel fica realmente em um local muito bonito, em frente a praia da Ponta Negra, porém a localização é péssima, é longe de tudo e na praia os quiosques que ficam na beira do Rio não servem comida. como cheguei a tarde não tinha onde comer. No hotel, o bar da piscina só tem porções e o atendimento é horrível, antes de fazer o pedido o atendente já te pergunta a forma de pagamento, mesmo estando identificado que eu era hospede. Em geral o atendimento é lastimável. Pela estrutura do Hotel é preciso melhorar muito o atendimento e as informações dos arredores. Infelizmente minha estadia no Hotel foi horrível. Como meu voo iria sair de Manaus somente às 17h, solicitei ficar no quarto até às 14h, porém não deixaram, mesmo eu tendo pago duas diárias e usado na verdade somente uma. Precisa treinar mais todo o pessoal que trabalha no Hotel.

This is a nice hotel but its showing it's age. However it has excellent views and is located in the rich neighborhood in Manaus. The pool also has amazing views. The elevators take forever and one elevator is down, you could wait 5 minutes for an elevator if its busy. Overall its a good place to stay for a couple days.
