great stay at great hotel

the checkin was super easy and smooth.. front desk clerk came and opened the door upon arrival, big smile on his face and from then on i had a new friend in Makassar.. any questions i just asked him and not only did he answer them but would tell me better way or place than what i was thinking.. the food in the restaurant as well as the service was perfect.Coto Makassar huge sreving and just ENAK..

I enjoyed my stay. It was clean and had a very nice breakfast buffet. There were coffee shops and other eating options nearby. The wifi worked well. It's an older hotel, but everything seemed to work fine.

Bit of a language barrier which can be confusing but overall nice place to stay manger wasn't there at different hotel ??? Needs addressing but the restaurant manger was outstanding thank you very much for making our stay so welcoming..

Good decor, good-sized room, nice staff

I was given a high-floor corner room with huge windows on two sides and view of sunset plus sunrise, the room is decorated in a classy 1990s and early 2000s style which I like very much. Food from room service was good and not expensive. Buffet breakfast quite nice; pool quite small but rather nice too. Their "taxi" (car with driver) service for the airport costs 160,000 which I think is a bit expensive, but considering the convenience, it's acceptable. Would definitely stay again.

An Overall Nice Stay

The hotel would have been so much better if the noise and disturbances from the neighbours can be eliminated. However, we all know that this happens occasionally and its resolution would just make everything perfect.

Good quality convenient hotel.

Friendly helpful staff who gave us excellent service. Hotel is quite new and in good condition. Rooms are spacious, breakfasts offer great variety, but pool and lobby areas quite small.

Standard hotel : expensive extras

This is a standard business hotel, good sized, clean rooms with an excellent (for Sullawesi) breakfast buffet. The pool is small, & at the time we visited, full of kids, so not a relaxing place. Check the prices of items in the mini bar & hotel bar. These were by far the most expensive we found in Indenesia. Staff very friendly & helpful

The hotel is relatively has an affordable price with the best location in Makassar. It's just 30 minutes away from the airport and its surrounding have many alternative restaurants to explore and discover.

Sorry for the interruption

Clean and convenient hotel while spending a week in Makasaar. Friendly staff always ready to help. My only complaints were the over eagerness of the staff at times. My work had me getting into my room after 22:00 most evenings followed by continued work in my room past midnight. A few mornings when I did not have an early morning meeting I attempts to sleep in. If I did not attend breakfast by 7:45 am the hotel staff would call my room informing of breakfast hours. This happened to me two mornings so I finally disconnected my phone. I also has a knock on my door by hotel staff just after 7:00 am asking if I had any need for laundry services. I had to leave my do not disturb sign on during evenings. Other that that experience I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.

Nothing to ride home about...

The hotel is centrally located and our hosts in Makassar told us that this is a relatively new hotel. The rooms are poorly laid out, the curtains are not made to measure and the finish of the fixtures and fittings are poor. All these made me feel very unsettled and as a result did not get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was good and the waiting staff were very courteous and attentive. The staff at the reception were great, but poorly trained. The good aspects were that the beds were comfy and the ipod dock near the bedside. Overall a reasonable hotel experience with nothing that stood out as memorable!
