Wir waren zum 2. Mal im WENS Hotel. Check-in war wieder sehr freundlich und schnell. Mein Neffe und wir haben die gleichen Zimmer wie beim letzten Aufenthalt bekommen, danach hatten wir vorher gefragt und es wurde prompt eingerichtet und möglich gemacht. Parkplätze für unseren Transporter gibt es reichlich um das Hotel. Das Zimmer war wieder sehr sauber - die kostenlose Minibar mit leckeren Säften und täglich Wasser sind unschlagbar und definitiv ein Mitkriterium für das Wohlfühlen. Über die Autobahn ist man schnell in Mainz, Rheinhessen, Frankfurt und Wiesbaden. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Il diavolo si nasconde nei dettagli

Proprio un peccato che alcuni dettagli trasformino un sosta potenzialmente piacevole in un “non ci tornerei mai più”. Iniziamo dal check in. Siamo arrivati alle 19,30 di domenica ed abbiamo trovato la reception vuota, con la comunicazione che chiudeva alle 18 di domenica. Se fosse stato scritto da qualche potevamo arrivare prima oppure essere preparati. Come fare per avere la nostra camera? Abbiamo dovuto telefonare al numero indicato e parlando in inglese che ovviamente tutti conoscono, abbiamo ricevuto un codice, mediante il quale da una cassetta all’esterno abbiamo ritirato le chiavi. Arrivare alle camere é stata una divertente caccia al tesoro tra un numero considerevole di porte e poche indicazioni e nessun pittogramma (quelli li capiscono tutti). Sorpresa: nella doccia c’era un flacone di bagno schiuma di chi ci aveva preceduti ed il piatto doccia, grazie al sapone non rimosso era super scivoloso. Mancavano le salviette nell’apposito contenitore vuoto. Dalla valigia appoggiata al pavimento abbiamo recuperato un capello di provenienza ignota. A parte la carenza nelle pulizie (facilmente rimediabile facendole meglio), le indicazioni verso le camere e verso la lobby, la mancata informazione sugli orari di reception, l’albergo potrebbe essere una sosta di qualità degna delle 4 stelle, ma in queste condizioni ne merita due in meno.

Das Hotel und der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr sauber, schönes Bad mit Rituals Kosmetik. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr reichhaltig: Wurst, Käse, Eiervariationen, Lachs, Obst, Müsli, Kaffeeautomat etc. - was bei diesem Preis auch selbstverständlich sein sollte. Die Vollkornbrötchen waren M E G A !! Ich weiß nicht, wann ich in der letzten Zeit mal so ein köstliches Brötchen gegessen habe!! Nur zwei kleine Anmerkungen: für einen „Milchkaffee“ fanden wir keine geeignete Tasse oder Glas, dann für den „Cappuccino“ entschieden, der wunderbar geschmeckt hat! Und mein Mann und ich fanden die Matratze etwas zu hart, weshalb wir einige Zeit gebraucht haben, um einzuschlafen. Die Schlafqualität nach der Nacht war aber sehr gut - keinerlei Rückenprobleme! Aber vielleicht bieten Sie einen Topper an? Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden - wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe unserer Verwandten eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit benötigen! :-))

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im WENS Hotel und waren sehr zufrieden. Da wir familiär mehrmals im Jahr in Mainz und Umgebung sind, werden wir bestimmt häufiger ins WENS Hotel gehen. Der Check-In war kurz und freundlich, das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Pflegeprodukte sind von Rituals, die Dusche hat eine Regenfallfunktion und täglich gibt es kostenlos eine Flasche Wasser und sehr gute Säfte und Limonaden von Rauch in der Minibar. Alles im Preis enthalten. Parkplätze gibt es ausreichend viele am und um das Hotel herum. Der Early Check-Out am Sonntag um 6 Uhr war problemlos möglich, einfach den Schlüssel in die Box am Tresen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem gemischeten Industriegebiet. Leider kaum Lokale in der Nähe fürs Abendessen. Aber 15 Minuten zur Straßenbahn, damit kann man dann navh Mainz in die Stadtmitte fahren.

Wie eine Nacht auf einer Tischplatte!!!

Die Matratze könnte man als Körperverletzung bezeichnen! Schlaf war nahezu nicht möglich, in 40 Jahren habe ich nicht auf so einem Stein schlafen müssen, das habe ich noch nie erlebt und wiegt so schwer über den ansonsten guten Aufenthalt, dass ich leider nur eine katastrophale Note für den Aufenthalt geben kann. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, der Herr beim Check in ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, wie man es selten heutzutage noch erlebt, weshalb ich es hier noch einmal besonders herausstellen muss. Für die zurückgebliebenen Putzutensilien und Staubsauger auf meinem ersten Zimmer konnte er nichts und hat die Situation fabelhaft geklärt und kam sofort mit neuer Zimmerkarte hoch. Der Mann verdient eine Gehaltserhöhung, toll, dass es so ein personal noch gibt! Das Zimmer war durchschnittlich sauber, obwohl wohl angeblich frisch neueröffnet. Hatte zwei Silberfische, die Toilette war nicht 100%ig abgezogen, irgendwas schwamm unten im WC. Lüftungsanlage war relativ laut, konnte während der Nacht nicht laufen. Hätte rückblickend aber keinen unterschied gemacht, denn beim aufs Bett "plumpsen" lassen hat man sich fast den Steiß gebrochen. Ich habe noch nie in meinem Leben so eine harte Matratze gesehen und bin über die 7 Stunden "Schlaf" mindestens alle 15 Minuten aufgewacht, weil es so unendlich unbequem war. Ich habe seit 15 Jahren ca. 50 Übernachtungen im Jahr, ich weiß wovon ich rede! NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN!

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt mit einem sehr freundlichen Empfang beim Check In. Neue schöne Zimmer mit Mini Bar. Die Getränke sind im Preis inkludiert. Das Frühstück ist gut aber zu teuer.
