"Close to beautiful harbour. Took a boat ride with Sea Princess to Cranberry Island it was great! Some shopping on a little main street. Beautiful houses and views of water."
"Motel che merita un voto pieno. Accoglienza ottima da parte del proprietario, che ci ha dato consigli utili per andare in centro a Bar Harbor con mezzi pubblici, gratuiti, che passano molto vicino al motel (sia andata che ritorno). Comodo il parcheggio davanti al proprio alloggio. Camera spaziosa e pulita, dotata di vari utili accessori (per esempio, macchina per fare il caffè). Sia in camera, che fuori, sotto il portico, ci sono un tavolo con due sedie, dove è comodo consumare la colazione....
"Charming decor, fresh, clean and comfortable. Nice kitchenette so we were able to cook our breakfasts and grill outside after our days out and about if we wanted on one of the convenient gas grills a very short walk from our front door. Nice fire pit and chairs for relaxing with a cocktail and maybe meet someone new if someone is around. Adjacent to a nice quiet road for a morning or evening walk if you like to do that. Short drive to the welcome center for Acadia too!"
"We loved our stay at the Clefstone! The staff was so kind, helpful, and available for anything you might need. We loved the fresh afternoon snacks after coming back from hiking each day and fresh coffee in the morning. We stayed in room #1 and it was the perfect size with a very comfy bed. Would love to stay here again! "
"This is really a wonderful facility, and the staff/owner was very professional, gracious, and pleasant. The room was quite nice. The problem we had is that it is a little bit too far to walk to downtown, which is kind of important because the parking and downtown Bar Harbor is absolutely horrendous."
"We had booked here for a one night stay in July 2025 but when we arrived we loved it and decided if we could we would love to stay for another night. Chris was very accommodating and got us an another night here. This was nothing but fantastic! Excellent location, staff were phenomenal and the property was nothing but beautiful indeed and well kept. I would highly recommend this hotel and Chris and his staff were very friendly and we were treated with the utmost respect. BTW we had breakfast...
