"Great place and this room for solo travel"

"Rooms were clean and fresh and breakfast was very good. What wasn’t so good was that bath towel was damp, either from not being changed or not dried thoroughly. We found the mattress quite hard and sleeping was not helped by the people above us running round at 12:30 pm- assume it was children,"

"Room was ok, very small bathroom with limited facilities. The room I was in was next to the kitchen, lots of noise til 12 and then from 6. Was expecting a continental breakfast, but a full English was given which was nice Overall a cheap place to stay, owners really friendly. "

"This was a 1-night stay for work. I was in the Castle room. Car park was free but small. Lovely greeting from owner. Room was spacious as was the ensuite which had a roll-top bath, as well as separate shower. TV was okay as was WiFi. Included in the price was a breakfast, which was offered with cereal, bread for toasting, fresh juice, hot drink and cooked breakfast. I had the cooked breakfast. Room had a desk and chair to work at if required. Nice touch of a small fridge in the upper hallway...

"The lodge was quite good in terms of cleanliness,environment,and amenities in the room was good.The staff{Amand)was quite good,respectful and always attended to my needs.My only concerns during my three days stay was the type of people that stays in the hotel.In my second night stay,i had some policemen knocking furiously on the door next to me.This was exactly 03.15am.I couldnt get back to sleep after all the noise and shouting. "The snacks in the reception are ALL high in sugar. To use the hairdryer it needs to be pressed down at all times which is very frustrating. A simple on and off switch much more practical and makes it easier to use for people with joint issues. Shampoo is kindly supplied maybe it would be possible to supply a little conditioner!? The staff is super friendly and helpful 🌼🌼"

"We had a family room and it was very clean and tidy… keep this up…what we didn’t like was no travel pack in room… and wasn’t told about we could use the cups in breakfast area… lovely beds… well recommend .."

"Recently thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay at The Old Vicarage, having visited in Sept 2025, I immediately booked again for Feb 2026. Once again the location was idyllic, our room and shared kitchen were excellent. The owners Gerry & Patricia were fabulous hosts, the dogs Frank & Elsa were very welcoming and the kitten Jennifer was lovely. The breakfasts, both full English and scrambled eggs with salmon were outstanding. In the afternoon we visited the nearby Heart of the Shires Shopping...

"I live in the US and this is my second stay at the Three Swans. I like the fact it was an old coaching Inn … on booking I was not advised or asked if a room up a lot of steep stairs at the very top of the building would work for me…. I am 75 and it was hard work! The staff are generally helpful especially the housekeeping staff. Breakfast was excellent. The courtyard that runs alongside the building full of comfortable tables/chairs and many boxes of flowers is a delight. I love Market...
