"I would highly recommend Pillows Boutique Hotel if you don't need to be in the heart of Chiang Mai, and want a luxury hotel for a budget price. The rooms were very nice, very clean, in a quiet area and only 10 minutes or so from central Chiang Mai by car. The only negative was having to go outside the hotel to smoke as there was no balcony, but that is a very minor inconvenience. "The hotel is tucked in a bit from the main street, so was a little difficult to find, but its in easy walking distance to main streets. The wifi is a bit iffy, but got the job done. Staff was friendly, even though communication was a bit difficult with the language barrier. Fine place to stay for just the night. "
