Checked in, got the key to my room. Everything seemed fine. But then someone else got a key to my room and tried to enter. It turned out that front desk tried give someone else my room. I thought that was weird but the people went back to front desk to get a new room. Then an hour later it happened again! The front desk gave another person a key to my room. After the second time, I went to the front desk to get it resolved. I didn't get the feeling they would have done anything had I not gone down to deal with it. It seems like when they checked me in earlier, somehow they didn't attach the room to my name or something??? I was pretty surprised that it happened again and that the front desk didn't seem to do anything to make sure it didn't happen again after the first time. I'm glad I was working in my room with the extra locks in. Had I not been there, someone would have been able to walk right in with all my stuff just sitting there! But even then, I was on edge for the rest of my stay, wondering if someone else was going to walk in. Was pretty disappointed that the front desk barely seemed to care about the issue.

Not only do they offer free parking on site, they also have a complementary shuttle service so you can go to campus or the hospital without having to worry about parking. The staff members are very nice and helpful and there is plenty of seating for breakfast.

Plenty of staff willing to help. The pool and hot tub was awesome. Loved that they had a free shuttle bus to take me anywhere. Room was very clean except for the recliner which had scratches on it but ither than that I will definitely come back here.

We were doing a Univ of Wisconsin tour and we were within walking distance but we used their shuttle to get there. There is no shuttle to or from the airport. The room was clean and appointed well. Because we stayed on a Friday night, the price of the room was a little exorbitant. The breakfast was adequate but the eggs were powdered eggs so I only ate the bacon and potatoes. My granddaughter does not eat pork so there was no substitute for that. The staff was helpful.

Good location with easy access to UW-Madison, lots of parking available. Good breakfast. Pillows are awful, bring your own. Rooms are starting to show some wear (peeling wallpaper) and our window seemed to be broken and wouldn’t latch closed so there was a bit of a breeze near the window and it was hard to keep the room warm. Bathrooms are very nice annd everything was clean. Overall, a good stay with a nice pool and hot tub, nice restaurant and great location.

I would stay here again. The easy parking, the free shuttle and the hot breakfast. Beds were comfortable. There is also a pool and hot tub. It was perfect for a college visit ot any wewkend in Madison.

Nice stay
The tv didn’t work in the room. Not very good signage to find the pool. Otherwise our stay was comfortable and the shuttle back and forth to the hospital and to local restaurants was excellent

Great location. Very noisy - could hear hallway conversations, people in adjacent rooms, doors slam very loudly and we could hear all of our neighbors toilets flushing.

I would recommend anyone that has any business at the University of Madison Hospital to stay here. Wonderful staff, many amenities, including a library and a fitness center. The only issue that I had was that the eggs were ice cold both mornings I was there, along with the biscuits and gravy, but there anre lots of other options, so it’s not a dealbreaker for me. Other than that,it’s really a great place. Thanks for making my father’s surgery less stressful for me.

Great Hotel, Great Value
Excellent location. Good service, a very nice evening meal, and a wonderful FREE hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, etc. as well as cold cereals, juices, coffee. And, importantly, the room rates are very reasonable considering the hotel's location in Madison. Others are much more expensive and no better than the Inn Towner. And, the Inn Towner has a free shuttle bus. This is a great hotel value!
