The people were nice, the food was great, the room was comfortable. Some renovations have been done but more is needed. There were missing tiles, mold on an old shower stall that needs to be replaced, patches on the wall where mirrors and lights changed. Great setting with the water and sunset. A nice outdoor area for dining and a fire pit.

Beautiful property across the road from the lake - easy access to dock and entry to water. Public beach nearby. Very motorcycle - friendly. 🏍️Lots of parking. Fire pit available. Updated rooms. Towels are thin and just soap and shampoo. On- site restaurant but short staffed. Expect to wait. Overall- good experience

Lake view was great. But the "suite" we were in needed some serious work! Took about 15-20 minutes to get hot water to our room. When we went to front office to notify the management (who wore not on premises), staff said they knew about issue and that particular room was the farthest away from the water heater! When we booked on-line it stated the room came with a queen bed, and a pull-out couch (bed). Always concerned about the main bed in room, because im a big guy 6'2", and 211 lbs. When we walked in the room my wife indicated that was not a queen bed. Two of us were not going to be able to sleep in it together. Oh well we at least had the pull-out to solve our problem. Wrong . My wife offered to sleep on it, thinking pull-out would have a mattress that was not as thick as a standard bed and my weight would make it all the more uncomfortable. Even her light weight she could feel the frame through the mattress! The next day my wife decided she would fill the jacuzzi tub and take a bath (again 20 minutes to run water to get it hot and fill tub to jet level). My wife hit the button to start tub and nothing! The tub doesn't work. We go out for the day and pick up a bottle of wine and look for some glasses to enjoy our wine in, unfortunately they only supplied small plastic and paper cups! Went up to front desk to ask for some wine glasses, I was told that management said staff were not supposed to give guests glasses but could buy them if they wanted.

The staff on the day of check in was very kind. The manager however, was incredibly rude during the couple phone calls I had with him to sort out a booking issue. He yelled at me, cut me off, and gave me incorrect information on how to amend the issues I had, which led to the issue never being resolved. I will not be staying here again.

Room was in good condition. Heater sometimes noisy; no hair dryer available. Some staff were helpful; others gave a lame excuse ("the weather") for bad wi-fi speed. I've stayed here twice now and both times the wi-fi was unacceptably slow - not possible to get work done (i.e. < 1 mbit/second). Overall it's decent here, but overpriced for what you get.

Restaurant saves it

It was what I would expect out of a motor lodge. At one time someone put a hole in the bedroom wall, and they patched it and just left it unpainted and unsmoothed, looked shabby. The hot water never got hot in the bathroom sink unless I ran the shower on hot to bring it in, that was odd. The restaurant however is a saving grace, it was very good.

Great view, comfortable beds, the rest not so good. We selected this hotel in part because it had an attached restaurant, which would have been convenient for breakfast and possibly supper. But when we arrived we were very annoyed to be told that the restaurant was closed the two days we were there. This despite no notice on Expedia, or on the hotel's web site, or even the' sign at the hotel which claimed the restaurant was 'open daily'. For the rest, the room had the smallest, most cramped bathroom I have ever seen. Operating the TV required a good knowledge of how to select the right HDMI channel and select the satellite feed. The instructions and channel guide supplied in the room were just wrong and totally useless. The hotel claimed a 25 Mbit internet feed, but speed was spotty and sometimes resembled dial-up speeds! Staff were scarce to non-existent. There was someone in the office when we came to check in, but at other times the office was locked up tight. There was no-one there when we went to check out at 8:20 am, so we left the key in the room. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

The place is situated in an amazing spot overlooking the bay but the dock is sinking because it needs repairs and breakfast is a bit expensive but besides that it’s a great inn Will definitely go again
